Only, is it their arsonist, or a targeted attack by a copycat?

When Tanner’s studio burns, Raimy Kellam does his best to support his best friend. He inadvertently becomes the only witness to have potentially seen the pyromaniac, which thrusts him into Harrison’s life… where Raimy senses their bond.

Only, Harrison already has someone in his life.

Cassidy Springdale has spent nearly a decade loving Harrison—always knowing his alpha’s omega could be around any corner and their love affair would end. When Raimy arrives in their lives, he must decide if he’s going to walk away or fight for the man he loves.

OUT NOW! His Stepdad Wears Leather (I hit the button early, y'all!)

I couldn't wait another second. I mean, it's been fucking forever since I had a book. Seemed stupid to wait until Friday, so I hit publish a couple of days early.

His Stepdad Wears Leather
(A Daddy Tales Book, 2)

Running from his deeply conservative, religious parents, Noah Butler boards a bus to cross the country, praying the birth mother who abandoned him will open her arms in welcome. Once he steps off the bus near midnight, an aggressive stranger has him running for his life. Noah finds safety at the Village, a gay nightclub—the only place nearby open at that hour.

Luckily, he still has that fake ID his best friend got him… and he looks older than eighteen. Inside the walls, he would be Christopher John Douglass and twenty-two—and he’d celebrate his birthday with the hot guy behind the bar. If the handsome bartender succumbs to his appalling attempts at flirtation.

Brody Preston takes one glance at the new guy in the Village and wants to know his story. There’s something about Chris that intrigues him. Brody can clearly tell the guy is running from something. His protective instinct screams within—but that’s not the only thing that sets the guy apart. It’s also the inexperienced seduction Chris attempts that has him charmed.

When Noah learns the bartender is the bar owner, he realizes he can’t come clean about who he really is. One-night becomes a week-long affair that ultimately ends when there’s too many questions Noah can’t answer. Again, he runs…

But this time, he runs right back into Brody… because they have a past binding them together. A past neither of them comprehended.

NEW RELEASE - His Stepson Wears Lace - A Daddy Kink Book

It's LIVE! His Stepson Wears Lace is available on Amazon - Kindle Unlimited as you read this!

The first time Jereme Oliver was caught in his mother’s lingerie, it ended up being the most embarrassing and soul-tormenting moment of his life. For several years, he buried his needs and never spoke a word to anyone about his sexuality or fetishes, afraid he would endure more pain and anguish. When he has the house to himself one night while visiting from college, the desire to play dress-up screams in his veins. Thinking he’s safe, he pulls on some of his mother’s lingerie, adds some makeup and one of her wigs, and revels in the image staring back at him in the mirror.

Nearly a year before, Anson Parker woke up in Vegas, married to a virtual stranger. Instead of annulling the marriage, he attempted to make it work solely on the basis that his new bride drove his controlling father crazy and that alone made him happy. Yet, no matter how much he tried to find a way through, eventually divorce seems like the only answer.

Anson goes home early to make one last-ditch effort and finds his wife finally wearing the gorgeous lingerie he’d bought her several months before. He knows that sex can’t be the only basis of a healthy relationship, but he can’t contain his lust when he sees her decked out in all that silk and lace. He sidles up behind her—hungry, hard, and ready.

After a line is crossed, he realizes it’s his stepson… not his wife… and both their worlds are turned upside down forevermore.

Deleted Scene - One Wild Omega

Hi there! After peeking at the reviews—I see some readers didn’t care for Tanner’s story as much as previous Omegaverse books. It seems the biggest gripe was that there was too much story in the past.

But after alluding to a backstory between Fitz and Tanner in Bellamy’s story, I felt like I really needed to show you all they’d been through. The mistakes they’d made along the way. I stand by the story I wrote. I loved it.

If you weren’t a fan, it’s all good ☺️ I’ll get ya on the next book!

A New Home

Fitz pulled up outside Bellamy’s building and fished for his phone in his pocket. Before he could dial the number, Bellamy came striding out the front door. He turned his head to offer a smile… but saw Bellamy wasn’t alone. His expression faltered.

Tanner McCreary was there at Bellamy’s side.

Bellamy opened the passenger side door. “I hope you don’t mind, but Tanner wanted to see the townhouse, too. I thought he could come with us and take the tour.”

Of course he did.“No problem… hop on in, Tanner,” Fitz grated out through his forced smile.

Tanner’s eyes narrowed as he smiled back. Without a word, he slid into the back of the cab and settled in while Bellamy climbed into the front.

Fitz glanced up in the mirror. The blue and purpled hair monster in the backseat glowered at him. Another fresh wave of the odd dislike he always felt washed over him. Be nice. He’s Bellamy’s friend.

“So where are we headed?” Fitz asked.

“Taylor Street and Fifth,” Bellamy answered. “I can direct you once we get there.”

“Staying in Uptown, hmm?”

“Barely,” Bellamy replied. “It’s on the fringe between Uptown and Down, but it’s a nice, quiet neighborhood from what I saw when I sneaked by yesterday.”

Fitz’s eyes flicked to the rearview and their third wheel before he pulled out into traffic. “I guess it’ll be nice to have him out of your… ah… hair.”

“Actually… I rather like having Bellamy staying with me. It’s nice to have someone around who appreciates art.”

“Another designer, are ya?”

“Fine artist,” Tanner corrected.

“Ah,” Fitz answered. “So that’s why you’ve got this wild get-up. You’re an artiste.”

“Does my appearance offend your khaki and polo wearing sensibilities, Fitz Walker?”

Just the way Tanner said his name made him cringe. “I don’t know, Tanner McCreary. Maybe it does. Looks like someone who simply wants attention.”

“Fitz,”Bellamy admonished under his breath.

Tanner proceeded, not needing Bellamy to fight his battles. “Or someone who doesn’t care about what other people think. I wear what I want. It matters little to me what your opinion is. I am who I am. Vibrantlyso.”

“Someone who didn’t care wouldn’t try so hard.”

“Ashamed that you can only fade into the background, alpha?”

“Will you two stop?” Bellamy cried, spinning to face them both. “What in the hell is wrong with you guys?” He looked at Fitz. “I’ve never seen you so rude.”

Fitz clenched his jaw, knowing Bellamy was right. He had no idea where the words had come from… they’d just spouted from his lips like water rushing in a river. Why he felt the need to push the omega’s buttons… he simply didn’t know. “Sorry,” he murmured before looking up into the mirror. “Sorry.”

Tanner had his arms crossed over his chest—and had pulled on a large pair of sunglasses. “Whatever.”

Fitz eyed Bellamy and saw the omega looked hurt by his actions. He felt terrible for putting that look on Bell’s face. “Sorry.”

Bellamy spun to sit straight ahead again, the tension in the cab cloying.

Fitz knew he needed something to shift gears—as well as stop himself from ripping apart what he’d just done with a magnifying glass. His rude behavior didn’t just unsettle Bellamy… it unsettled him, too. The fact he didn’t know how to stop was almost frightening. “So, tell me more about this townhouse.”

Bellamy sighed before answering. “It’s a small brownstone in a row of many. Built nearly a hundred years ago. They all look alike on that street, but what really matters is the inside—which I have amazing plans for already. Eventually, I want to use it as a showplace. A way to show potential clients what I’m capable of. You know… once I have my own firm.”

“So that’s the plan, hmm?” Fitz asked. He quickly glanced at Bell before making a turn. It was nice seeing the frown fading away. The omega’s excitement helped ease memories of his bad behavior away.

He gave another quick glance in the mirror and saw Tanner staring out the window, watching the scenery pass. Again he felt bad about the things he’d said. It wasn’t like him. Not at all. What was it about McCreary that had him act that way?

McCreary. That sums it up.Another rich boy, able to throw his money around and get whatever he wanted. Fitz hadn’t grown up in a world like that. They were like oil and water, never able to truly blend.

“Over there… by the tree. Park there,” Bellamy said, excitement in his voice.

Fitz parked quickly and they all jumped out. He took a look along the street and indeed saw that all the townhouses looked the same on both sides, for as far as the eye could see. But there were many large oaks lining the narrow street. Individual houses had made minor changes to stand out a bit here and there. A potted plant here, a colorful flag there. He spun to face Bellamy—and Tanner—before following the pair up to an empty townhouse nearby.

A beta realtor was there to open the door as they arrived. “Bellamy! So glad to see you again. Come on in.”

As soon as they were inside, a round of introductions were made before the realtor gave them all a huge smile. “Welcome everyone. Go ahead and give the place a walk-through. I’ll stay down here and let you roam. Feel free to ask any questions.”

Fitz glanced around. The townhouse was narrow… and the small rooms didn’t make it any better. He felt claustrophobic.

“Tiny place,” Tanner murmured in agreement.

“Of course you’d say that. You’re used to mansions,” he said without a thought. He’d thought the place was small, too. So why the fuck had he felt the need to start another argument?

Tanner and Bellamy glared at him before they walked deeper into the house.

“I know it’s tight—but I want to blow out these three walls and open it up. Once I did that, it would feel twice as big,” Bellamy said. “Ripping it open would be easy. Affording to put it all back together again will be the expensive part.”

“Sorry, not trying to eavesdrop, but we couldpotentially add some for renovation costs into the mortgage,” the realtor said, off to the side.

“That would help,” Tanner said. “The money and blowing out these walls. It wouldn’t feel so… claustrophobic.”

“Heisonly one person,” Fitz replied. “It’s not like he needs a ton of space.”

“Be nice,” Bellamy whispered at Fitz.

Tanner turned to eye him. “Bellamy asked me to come and offer my opinion. Which I am doing. Do you have a problemwith that?”

Fitz felt words bubbling up his throat and had to clamp tight in order not to say them. “Nope.”

Tanner glared a moment longer and Fitz felt a tight pinching in his chest. What the fuck?

Bellamy moved closer as soon as Tanner’s back was turned and gave him a look. The look an alpha never wanted to see from an omega—especially one he thought might be the one.

Utter disappointment.

“Sorry,” Fitz said for what felt like the millionth time that day. He held up his hands in mock surrender and bit the inside of his lip as a reminder to keep them shut for the rest of the tour. From that point on, he trailed behind the pair… took a peek here and there… and saw potential in the townhouse. If renovated well, Bellamy could have a beautiful home.

When they were done with the tour and outside on the small back deck, Bellamy turned to them both. “Can you see my vision?”

“I think I can,” Tanner said. “And I think it would be gorgeous once you had your way with it.”

Not to be outdone, Fitz added. “I know you can make this place amazing. I’d love to help with the renovation. Get my hands dirty. I could potentially get my brothers over here to help, too.”

“That would be awesome,” Bellamy said. “I’d make sure there was plenty of pizza and beer on hand if you and your brothers could be my wrecking crew.”

“Not just wrecking,” Fitz said. “We all know a thing or two about construction, so… I’d love to help make this place right for you. Make it a home you can be proud of.”

He glanced to the side and saw Tanner glaring at him again. Only this time… there was something different in his eyes.

A high-pitched humming roared in Fitz’s ears… his heartbeat thundered there, too.

“I appreciate the offer… and I might take you up on it. But, honestly Fitz… this is a huge job. I won’t take advantage of you like that,” Bellamy said.

“It’s not taking advantage when I offer it. Friends do things for one another… right?”

“A little help is fine. I won’t have you and your brothers busting your asses for me. I mean, I could afford to pay you some, but not nearly enough.”

“Pay? No,” Fitz replied.

“Then just what is it you get out of this deal?” Tanner asked him, one blue brow sharply elevated.

Friendstake care of one another,” Fitz spat. “Do you have many of those, McCreary? Or just random people around you that you use for your entertainment?”

Anger shone in Tanner’s eyes before he stormed back inside the house.

Bellamy glared at him. “Fitz? I’ve never seen this side of you. And frankly… I don’t like it.”

As soon as Tanner was gone, the anger he’d felt shifted and it was like the red was taken from his vision. “I don’t like it either. Trust me.”

“Why are you being so cruel to him?”

Fitz shook his head. “I don’t know!” When Bellamy didn’t look convinced, he added, “Seriously. I don’tknow. For some reason, I feel defensive when he’s around. I felt it at the club the night I met him, too.” Something tickled at the back of his brain… a memory… a thought of something, but it wouldn’t come. “I see red when he’s around. I can’t explain it.”

“Explain it or not, I want it to stop. Tanner saved me. Literally.Had it not been for him, I’d likely be back east, locked away in the Omega Quadrant. I owe him a lot. For my sake… please… be nice.”

Fitz clenched his jaw and nodded. “This isn’t who I am. It isn’t. You know that.”

“I thought I did.” Bellamy eyed him warily before walking inside.

Fitz remained outside another minute, trying to understand the reaction Tanner caused in him. It didn’t make sense. At all.

He wasn’t this man. He wasn’t cruel. He didn’t start arguments just for the sake of starting them. Once he’d calmed down a little, Fitz walked back inside and heard the tail-end of a conversation between Bellamy and the realtor.

“…I can have the offer drawn up and submit it to the owners. I know they’re motivated to sell, so I think you might have a good shot at it even at that low of a price. So many have walked in and seen what shape it’s in and walked right on out. This place could use someone willing to give it some TLC.”

“He needs to keep the offer low, too. So he can affordto fix this place up,” Tanner said to the realtor.

Why are you worried about his money?Fitz managed to keep that comment to himself. With great pains.

“We’ll see what they say,” the realtor replied. “Bellamy, I’ll call you when I get an answer—one way or another.”

Once they were all outside and in Fitz’s truck, Bellamy turned to them with a brilliant smile and fingers crossed on both hands. “Maybe I’ll get lucky!”

“I almost hope you don’t,” Tanner murmured. “Because I don’t want to lose my roommate.”

Fitz swallowed down another comment. And another. He decided it best just to keep his big mouth shut. He drove Bellamy back to the building the two currently shared and pulled up along the curb. Tanner was quick to jump out without a word. Bellamy paused a moment before unbuckling.

“Maybe we could go grab some lunch?” Fitz asked hopefully. His stare went to Tanner’s back as the omega marched toward the front door. “Just you and me?”

Bellamy shook his head. “I don’t think that’s a good idea. I’ll… I’ll see you, Fitz.”

Fitz watched as Bellamy left, the door slammed closed in his wake.

What the fuck did I just do?

He drove off down the street completely confused about his own behavior… and what to do to win back Bellamy’s trust.

****

Upstairs…

“I am soooosorry,” Bellamy said as soon as they were in the apartment alone. “I’ve never seen Fitz act that way. And I never would’ve asked him to come if I knew he’d treat you like that.”

“It’s okay,” Tanner murmured. “Not your fault. He’s just an asshole, apparently.” No. He’s a dick. A total Richard, remember?

“Honestly… he’s been a great guy up to this point. Maybe something’s going on with him… I mean, in the time I’ve known him—he’s neveracted like this.”

“Seriously. It’s no biggie. I’ll survive.” Will I?He forced one foot before the other, heading for the kitchen and something to drink. He gazed into the fridge, but saw nothing that appealed. Then he saw the old whiskey bottle on the counter and decided to pour himself one.

“It’s only two in the afternoon,” Bellamy said behind him.

Tanner took the shot before looking at his roommate. “Not like I work banker’s hours.” He poured another.

“I guess not,” Bellamy mumbled. “I just rarely see you drink.”

The alpha drove me to it.“Rarely doesn’t mean never,” he said before downing a second one. He immediately poured a third and pounded that back, hoping to take the edge off the pain he felt.

Heat the chill of Fitz’s loathing for him.

Because he sure as hell felt cold inside. And a little empty. It was one thing to get an ugly look or two. A sneer. It was a whole other thing to feel total rejection.

From his alpha.

Not mine. Never. Fucking asshole.

And still, Tanner knew deep down that he’d never be able to ignore the attraction he felt toward Fitz. Maybe it was a good thing Bellamy was moving. Maybe he could cut ties and put up walls to protect himself. If he never saw either of them again, he could forget. Heal. Move on. Because that’s what an adult would do.

Versus this pouring of salt into the wound he seemed unable to stop himself from doing.

After the fourth shot burnt its way down his throat, he poured another and let the liquor’s warmth burn away Fitz’s coldness. Drunk was the only option he could think of in order to stop feeling what he was feeling.

As soon as he’d downed the fifth shot, he turned to look at a shocked Bellamy. The world was growing a little fuzzier around the edges and he felt more mellow. “Want one?”

Coming Soon! One Wild Omega (Alphas of the Western Provinces, 2)

One Wild Omega
Alphas of the Western Provinces, 2

Tanner's story is coming soon!

(Unedited blurb)

From the first moment they met, Tanner McCreary and Fitz Walker have always had a love-hate relationship. One that bordered more on the latter, much to the chagrin of Tanner—who knew from first glance that Fitz was his alpha. For some reason, Fitz acted like he wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. Even with the scent masking drug, Scentex, keeping them free, an omega’s alphas always seemed to sense something in the air when close.

But that wasn’t the case with Fitz.

So Tanner backed off, licked his wounds, and figured fate would lead them back together someday. Maybe then things would be different.

Someday came, but only made the situation worse. Tanner learned they shared a close friend in common—another omega—one Fitz eventually bedded. Brokenhearted, Tanner was sure the gods, fate, or whoeverwas in charge of binding an alpha and an omega together had gotten it very, very wrong.

His mate wasn’tthe one apparently. Tanner lied to himself, saying he didn’t care, and kept his secret close. When the truth finally emerges, Fitz knows he has mountains to climb to make things right, and even that might not be enough.

Sky fucking refused to pussy out. He forced himself to walk whenever no one was watching. It was pure agony, dragging himself along behind his wheelchair, one step at a time.

The sooner he could walk, the sooner he could be functional, the sooner he’d get out. These doctors up here didn’t know cowboys. They kept telling him to be patient, to take it easy.

Fools.

Easy wasn’t the way.

“I know, I’m early. I’m here to take the rock star cowboy to—whoa. Hey, man.”

He rolled his eyes as Kevin put a foot against the front of the chair. He hadn’t planned on getting caught.

“What the hell are you doing?”

Fortunately, Kevin sounded more amused than pissed.

“Going to the little cowboy’s room.” That was a fair answer, right?

Kevin rolled his eyes. “You know there’s no brakes on this thing, right? You want to walk? All right. Let’s go, cowboy. Let go of that death trap and hold on to me.”

“That’s fair enough. Thanks.” By the time he made it to the restroom, he was soaked through and breathing hard. Goddamn, it sucked to be old.

“So, you want the chair for the way back?” Kevin grinned, daring him.

“Fuck you, asshole.” He shut the door in Kevin’s face, huffing out laughter. He did his business, washed his face, thought about shaving, decided against it, and headed out.

The chair was waiting when he opened the door, and Kevin wasn’t playing. “Sit your ass down.”

He knew when he was stuck, so he sat. “I’m working to get better, buddy.”

“Good.” Kevin rolled him about two feet to a chair and sat in it, face serious. “Listen up. I’m your best friend and your worst enemy. You want to start walking? Great. We’ll do it. We will do it. You have a metal rod and pins in your femur and a brand, spanking new hip. You take one fall that you’re not prepared for, and that hip is toast. If your hip is toast, not even God is gonna let you walk again. Am I making myself crystal clear here?”

“I want to start walking.” He leaned forward. “My guy and me, we’ve been broke up for four years. Four. Now he’s in my life, and I’m fucking worthless. I got to get better, man. I have to.”

He finally had a chance to be with Beck. He wanted it.

One Wild Heat
An MPREG Omegaverse Book
(Alphas of the Western Provinces, 1)

~Coming to Amazon & Kindle Unlimted 17 May 2019~

After catching his beta boyfriend in bed with another alpha, Quinn McCreary needs a quiet space away before he does something he’ll regret—like let the man remain in his life. He heads up to the little used family lake house, hoping it’s enough distance between him and a cheating ex.

Too bad his younger omega brother has handed a key to that lake house to a friend who needs to cycle off his heat-blocking drugs. Bellamy Carter has waited too long and his body is struggling. He’s on the cusp of a wild heat—brought on by suppressing his nature too long. By the time he walks into the lake house, he’s in full heat… and there’s a sexy alpha across the room who’s more than willing to assist.

Quinn is enslaved by the instinct and goes into full rut. The pair spend several days in bed, sating the animal need within them both. When it’s over, they part awkwardly, still little more than strangers. Unsure how they feel about each other and the bond they’ve already seemed to forge, it’s not until they see each other again that they realize it wasn’t just a wild heat, but something more.

But will life get into the way of their happily ever after?

Note: This is NOT Avery and Wilder's story. It's the first book in a new series based in the SAME WORLD as His Surrogate Omega.

Omegaverse FAQ -- What are these heat drugs the omegas take?

I know you have questions about Heat Repress and what it does exactly.

Or the drugs Avery is taking to let him pass as a beta... I mean, what the hell are they and where the hell did he find them?

So, here's all you need to know about the heat drugs our omegas might or might not be on in my Omegaverse books.

**Note -- if you're interested in reading more about heats in my Omegaverse, check out THIS post.

1. Heat Repress

This is the one most of you are familiar with from His Surrogate Omega. It's the drug that's threatening to stop working for Gray and the reason he feels he has no choice but to become a surrogate -- to give his body a break.

Heat Repress doesn't completely curb an omega's heat. On it, they are still riddled with lust and the desire to be mated, but the urge is contained and prevents an unmated omega from going over the edge, climbing the city walls, and begging ANY alpha to breed him.

Alphas in an omega-in-heat's presence will go into partial rut.

It must be taken twice daily -- morning and evening -- starting on the day before a heat begins (linked to the lunar cycle) through to the end of the heat -- a total of four days.

It does NOT prevent pregnancy.

It does nothing to hide an omega's scent from alphas.

For mated couples, it allows clarity of mind. So things like condoms don't get forgotten in the heat of the moment.

Truly meant to help younger, unmated omegas until they find their mates—as well as mated ones between pregnancies—it isn't made to be on long-term. Hence Gray's issue with it beginning to fail him.

2. Heatex

Illegal in the Eastern Provinces (where His Surrogate Omega takes place) this is basically a much, much stronger version of Heat Repress. Omegas in the Western Provinces have already battled for their rights and use Heatex and Scentex to control their own reproductive rights.

Heatex curbs 80-90% of an omega's heat. There's still a bit of lust, but it can be easily contained and does not bring their world to a complete halt.

Alphas in the presence of an omega on Heatex do not go into rut (unless it's beginning to fail -- then they'll go into varying stages of rut depending on how bad the failure is...)

The pills must be taken twice daily -- morning and evening -- starting on the day before a heat begins (linked to the lunar cycle) through to the end of the heat -- a total of four days -- just like Heat Repress.

It does NOT prevent pregnancy.

It does nothing to hide an omega's scent from alphas.

One con to Heatex, like Heat Repress, it can fail if an omega uses it non-stop without an occasional break. Once every year or two, an omega needs to cycle off. Because it's stronger than Heat Repress, that failure happens faster. If an omega continuously takes Heatex non-stop, it will fail them in 3-5 years.

Sometimes it's difficult for an unmated omega to cycle off. They must be in a safe place, protected, to ensure they can cycle off without the chances of being bred. This sometimes leads some omegas to overuse and less cycling off -- especially those with less financial means.

3. Scentex

Also illegal in the Eastern Provinces, the omegas of the Western Provinces use this drug to mask their scent. It allows them the freedom to move amongst alphas without worrying their alpha could find them and publicly claim them. On Scentex, their alpha could pass by them without an idea their omega was within arm's reach.

It also helps curb their desire for their alpha, as it impacts their own scent glands, too. In other words, an omega knows their alpha at first scent -- but they can control their reaction better thanks to the Scentex.

Scentex is a liquid/injectable. It must be administered once every three months via syringe into a fatty part of the body. Once a dosage is missed, it can take up to three weeks before an omega's scent becomes detectable again.

It does NOT prevent pregnancy.

It does nothing to alter an omega's heat.

****UPDATE TO ADD - Scentex is made to be used in conjunction with Heatex. If an omega is in heat, Scentex might not be strong enough to fully cover the scent of an omega's slick. An alpha nearby could potentially scent him, particularly in close quarters in an enclosed space. ****

4. Birth Control

There are birth control pills in this world, but they're illegal in many provinces. There's also side effects that can cause an omega to become infertile, which has helped cause a bit of a stigma surrounding any omega or couple who uses them in the provinces that do allow them.

Condoms are the prophylactic of choice in most provinces and are very effective if used properly.

A device similar to a diaphragm is also used in some cases, particularly nursing omegas unable to return to their heat blocking drugs. While nursing, most omegas' heats are naturally milder anyway thanks to the higher levels of pregnancy hormones still in their blood, so they tend not to suffer as much on their own.

May 2019 Writing Update -- AKA -- "No offense, but when THE FUCK is there going to be a new book??"

I know, I know...

I usually put books out at a fairly regular clip and here lately I've not been doing that.

I had some health issues and had to take a few weeks off writing to heal. It's still a process and I'm not 100%, but I'm getting there. And I have some good news... there are some new books coming.

Bad news... the muse wasn't ready to complete Wilder and Avery's story quite yet.

I WON'T force it. I've forced books before (recently, Bear Mountain 22) and it's painful to do and I'm never happy with the completed product. Wilder and Avery deserve better than that.

While doing a little brainstorming for Wilder and Avery's story, I realized there were a few questions about the drugs Avery is taking to conceal who he is. Where did they come from? How did he get them? What is the difference between Heat Repress and whatever it is he's on?

The answers to those questions led me toward a new path in my Omegaverse. Since the muse was dragging on Wilder and Avery's story, I turned my attention there. So, in other words -- there is a new novel based in the Omegaverse coming later this month -- One Wild Heat (Alphas of the Western Provinces, 1).

It's already done and in my editor's hands. Beta readers have given me the thumbs up -- so I think we're getting close. I hope to release it mid-May.

Now, a lot of you have commented that you really wish there had been more one on one time with Gray and Rohan at the end of His Surrogate Omega. I heard you. And you're getting what you asked for. I'm nearly done writing a Gray and Rohan short story that takes place when the twins are 15 months old.

It's slated for release late May!

I'm also a part of an upcoming promotion for Memorial Day! I'll be one of 20+ authors participating in the SUMMER HEAT MPREG Giveaway! More details on that will come closer to the end of the May!

Once that short story is completed, the plan is to get back to Wilder and Avery's story - His Reluctant Omega. The hope is to write THE END by June and get it out June/July -- but I have to let my muse lead the way. I want their story to be amazing and rival His Surrogate Omega as your favorite :)

Sunday Spotlight - Yuki Edo and Sakura Towers

Welcome Yuki Edi back to Sunday Spotlight. She's here to share a bit from her recent re-release -- the Sakura Towers collection. Three books in one, and it's available on Kindle Unlimited!
***
Sakura Towers is an apartment complex in Tokyo that caters to the needs of young professionals. This series chronicles the lives and loves of many of its residents.
Welcome to Sakura Towers, where fantasies come to life.
Yaoi Dreams
Seto and Kaname have been secret lovers for a year, and Seto knows that Kaname wants them to stop hiding. He loves Kaname, yet he can’t stop worrying about what his family and co-workers will think. What Seto doesn’t know is that his lover has a plan to get everything he wants, and Kaname won’t let anything—not even Seto—stop him from having it all.
Special Delivery
Ryu has been delivering packages to Ichiro for months now, and he’s finally worked up the courage to flirt more openly with the warm and friendly older man. A chance meeting escalates their relationship, and soon Ryu is living out his fantasies of having Ichiro in his arms.
They come from different backgrounds, and their schedules are often in conflict. Ryu worries about these issues, though Ichiro shrugs them off. Can they turn this relationship into more than just sex, or will it only be a short-lived fantasy?
His Roommate
Hiroki’s new roommate is nothing like he expected, yet Dai is everything Hiroki’s ever wanted in a man. But Dai is in denial about who he really is and what he wants in life. Hiroki isn’t sure he has the strength to drag another man out of the closet.
But before long, Hiroki finds himself with more than enough strength to try. One kiss from Dai tells Hiroki the older man has been hiding from his own desires for far too long.

Excerpt:
Even though it meant he would get home over an hour later than usual, Ryu still put off his delivery to Ichiro Murakami until the very end of his route. The incredibly handsome older man had been on Ryu’s route before, and Ryu had been very disappointed the day he’d seen moving boxes in Ichiro’s apartment. But then two weeks later he’d discovered that Ichiro had only moved a few blocks away to one of the new penthouses in Sakura Towers, so he was still on Ryu’s delivery route. He’d had a crush on the man for months, and despite the difference in their ages, Ryu had decided he wanted to take the chance and reveal his feelings.
If Ryu had come earlier, Ichiro would’ve still been at work, and then Ryu would’ve had to leave the package at the front desk. Ichiro ordered lots of merchandise online, so Ryu had a package for him at least once, sometimes twice, a week. He’d always tried to be extra friendly and accommodating, but tonight he had plans to be a little flirty. It could get him into trouble, but he couldn’t imagine Ichiro complaining about him. Ichiro’s laid back nature was one of the things Ryu loved about him. He often got through his day by fantasizing about being with Ichiro, imagining what it would be like to finally kiss him.
To hold him down and fuck him senseless.
Ryu sighed as he scanned the package and got out of his truck. He walked up to the building and entered the lobby, nodding to the girl at the desk. “Delivery for Murakami-san.”
She nodded back and then returned to her conversation with the security guard. Coming to the intercom bank, he hit the button for Ichiro’s penthouse. He answered within a few seconds.
“Yes?”
“Ryu from Yama Shipping, Murakami-san.”
“Wonderful. Come on up.”
The intercom buzzed, and then one of the elevators to the far right opened for him. He walked over to it and stepped inside, his mind buzzing as he tried to think of conversation starters. Ichiro was always talkative and never tried to get rid of him. They’d once talked for almost five minutes. That wouldn’t be much if they’d met somewhere else, but it showed how warm and open Ichiro was. Ryu smoothed the front of his pants down and tried to push his more carnal thoughts away. He hadn’t gotten laid lately, his fantasies about Ichiro killing his interest in dating anyone else. The door opened, and he crossed the entryway to the penthouse’s real door.
It opened moments after he knocked, and he smiled as he held the electronic signature pad out. “I hope you’re well this evening,” Ryu said.
“I’m all right. Kind of tired.” Ichiro signed and handed the pad back. “How are you?”
“Ready to relax for the evening,” Ryu said. He spied a couple of packages on the table behind Ichiro and saw an opportunity. As he handed the package over, he said, “I’m hurt. Seems you’ve been cheating on me.”
Ichiro blinked, but then he turned and followed Ryu’s gaze. He laughed and said, “Ah, that’s all work. Brought by courier.” He smiled. “I’d never be unfaithful to the one who takes such good care of my packages.”
Hope filled Ryu as he met Ichiro’s gaze. “You work in publishing, then?” One of the packages had been opened, and it seemed to be a stack of identical books.
“I’m marketing director at Kodashi House. Those are for a signing tomorrow. The first twenty in line will get a special edition with bonus content, and we didn’t want them to get mixed up with the other copies, so I’m bringing them myself.”
“That must be fun. I’m a big fan of My Demon, if you don’t find that too hard to believe.” He’d purposely picked a Boys’ Love series he knew Kodashi House published. He hadn’t read the series in a while, but it had been the first to come to mind. He could always buy the more recent volumes and catch up if this sparked Ichiro’s attention.
“Really? The editor of that one lives in this building, actually. Perhaps I could introduce you some day.” Ichiro seemed to be eyeing him more closely now. “I don’t find it hard to believe you like it. It’s an intriguing and well-crafted series. I hate it when people are shamed for what they love reading.”
“I agree with you. Oddly enough, it’s how my mother found out I prefer men. My reading. She was a bit upset at first.” Ryu wondered if that had been a step too far, but he’d wanted to make it known he liked men. He likely wouldn’t get such a natural chance again.
Ichiro chuckled. “There are worse ways. My mother caught me, um … well, let’s just say I wasn’t allowed to have friends sleep over after a certain point.”
Ryu wanted to jump the man right then. The moment was just too perfect. “Wow. My mother would’ve had a heart attack.”
“Mine almost did. Embarrassed my friend so bad he ended our relationship and started dating girls.” He shrugged. “I don’t know how that went for him. He transferred schools the next year.”
“It can be hard to meet people. To avoid being judged here.” Quickly, he added, “Who’s having a signing tomorrow? I’ve never been to one.” He had to work his other job tomorrow as well, but he would have a few breaks during the day. It would be a chance to see Ichiro someplace besides the doorway of his penthouse. He didn’t expect the man to ask him out or anything just because of what they’d been talking about, but it didn’t hurt to try. He gripped the signature pad in both hands, trying to contain his excitement at learning that Ichiro liked men, too.
“Takahiro Kino. It’s a brand new shoujo series that just launched. We’ll be in Nanali Books at lunchtime, eleven to two.”
“Ah, I’ll probably be working all day, but I may be able to swing in.”
Ichiro looked at his watch. “It is late. They really keep you going.” He backed up. “I’ll let you get going so you can get home.”
Ryu wished he’d said something else, something that would’ve kept the conversation flowing, but he didn’t want to push his luck. If he managed his time well, he could stop in for the signing tomorrow. That would have to do—for now. He nodded. “Good night, Murakami-san.”
“Good night.” Ichiro smiled and closed the door.
Ryu sighed and walked back to the elevator. As soon as the doors closed, he adjusted his pants. Looking down, he rubbed his palm over his erection, willing it to calm down. At least he could hold the bulky signature pad in front of him in the lobby if he had to.
His plan had gone well enough, and he’d learned more about Ichiro than he’d expected. As soon as he was safely back in his truck, he pulled out his phone and went to Nanali Books and a few other bookstores online to sign up to be notified of author events. As marketing director, Ichiro might be at most of them, as he would be tomorrow. New fantasies began to form in Ryu’s mind as he drove back to work and checked in. He couldn’t wait to get home to relieve the ache he was beginning to feel.
