Sunday Spotlight - Yuki Edo and Sakura Towers

Welcome Yuki Edi back to Sunday Spotlight. She's here to share a bit from her recent re-release -- the Sakura Towers collection. Three books in one, and it's available on Kindle Unlimited!
***
Sakura Towers is an apartment complex in Tokyo that caters to the needs of young professionals. This series chronicles the lives and loves of many of its residents.
Welcome to Sakura Towers, where fantasies come to life.
Yaoi Dreams
Seto and Kaname have been secret lovers for a year, and Seto knows that Kaname wants them to stop hiding. He loves Kaname, yet he can’t stop worrying about what his family and co-workers will think. What Seto doesn’t know is that his lover has a plan to get everything he wants, and Kaname won’t let anything—not even Seto—stop him from having it all.
Special Delivery
Ryu has been delivering packages to Ichiro for months now, and he’s finally worked up the courage to flirt more openly with the warm and friendly older man. A chance meeting escalates their relationship, and soon Ryu is living out his fantasies of having Ichiro in his arms.
They come from different backgrounds, and their schedules are often in conflict. Ryu worries about these issues, though Ichiro shrugs them off. Can they turn this relationship into more than just sex, or will it only be a short-lived fantasy?
His Roommate
Hiroki’s new roommate is nothing like he expected, yet Dai is everything Hiroki’s ever wanted in a man. But Dai is in denial about who he really is and what he wants in life. Hiroki isn’t sure he has the strength to drag another man out of the closet.
But before long, Hiroki finds himself with more than enough strength to try. One kiss from Dai tells Hiroki the older man has been hiding from his own desires for far too long.

Excerpt:
Even though it meant he would get home over an hour later than usual, Ryu still put off his delivery to Ichiro Murakami until the very end of his route. The incredibly handsome older man had been on Ryu’s route before, and Ryu had been very disappointed the day he’d seen moving boxes in Ichiro’s apartment. But then two weeks later he’d discovered that Ichiro had only moved a few blocks away to one of the new penthouses in Sakura Towers, so he was still on Ryu’s delivery route. He’d had a crush on the man for months, and despite the difference in their ages, Ryu had decided he wanted to take the chance and reveal his feelings.
If Ryu had come earlier, Ichiro would’ve still been at work, and then Ryu would’ve had to leave the package at the front desk. Ichiro ordered lots of merchandise online, so Ryu had a package for him at least once, sometimes twice, a week. He’d always tried to be extra friendly and accommodating, but tonight he had plans to be a little flirty. It could get him into trouble, but he couldn’t imagine Ichiro complaining about him. Ichiro’s laid back nature was one of the things Ryu loved about him. He often got through his day by fantasizing about being with Ichiro, imagining what it would be like to finally kiss him.
To hold him down and fuck him senseless.
Ryu sighed as he scanned the package and got out of his truck. He walked up to the building and entered the lobby, nodding to the girl at the desk. “Delivery for Murakami-san.”
She nodded back and then returned to her conversation with the security guard. Coming to the intercom bank, he hit the button for Ichiro’s penthouse. He answered within a few seconds.
“Yes?”
“Ryu from Yama Shipping, Murakami-san.”
“Wonderful. Come on up.”
The intercom buzzed, and then one of the elevators to the far right opened for him. He walked over to it and stepped inside, his mind buzzing as he tried to think of conversation starters. Ichiro was always talkative and never tried to get rid of him. They’d once talked for almost five minutes. That wouldn’t be much if they’d met somewhere else, but it showed how warm and open Ichiro was. Ryu smoothed the front of his pants down and tried to push his more carnal thoughts away. He hadn’t gotten laid lately, his fantasies about Ichiro killing his interest in dating anyone else. The door opened, and he crossed the entryway to the penthouse’s real door.
It opened moments after he knocked, and he smiled as he held the electronic signature pad out. “I hope you’re well this evening,” Ryu said.
“I’m all right. Kind of tired.” Ichiro signed and handed the pad back. “How are you?”
“Ready to relax for the evening,” Ryu said. He spied a couple of packages on the table behind Ichiro and saw an opportunity. As he handed the package over, he said, “I’m hurt. Seems you’ve been cheating on me.”
Ichiro blinked, but then he turned and followed Ryu’s gaze. He laughed and said, “Ah, that’s all work. Brought by courier.” He smiled. “I’d never be unfaithful to the one who takes such good care of my packages.”
Hope filled Ryu as he met Ichiro’s gaze. “You work in publishing, then?” One of the packages had been opened, and it seemed to be a stack of identical books.
“I’m marketing director at Kodashi House. Those are for a signing tomorrow. The first twenty in line will get a special edition with bonus content, and we didn’t want them to get mixed up with the other copies, so I’m bringing them myself.”
“That must be fun. I’m a big fan of My Demon, if you don’t find that too hard to believe.” He’d purposely picked a Boys’ Love series he knew Kodashi House published. He hadn’t read the series in a while, but it had been the first to come to mind. He could always buy the more recent volumes and catch up if this sparked Ichiro’s attention.
“Really? The editor of that one lives in this building, actually. Perhaps I could introduce you some day.” Ichiro seemed to be eyeing him more closely now. “I don’t find it hard to believe you like it. It’s an intriguing and well-crafted series. I hate it when people are shamed for what they love reading.”
“I agree with you. Oddly enough, it’s how my mother found out I prefer men. My reading. She was a bit upset at first.” Ryu wondered if that had been a step too far, but he’d wanted to make it known he liked men. He likely wouldn’t get such a natural chance again.
Ichiro chuckled. “There are worse ways. My mother caught me, um … well, let’s just say I wasn’t allowed to have friends sleep over after a certain point.”
Ryu wanted to jump the man right then. The moment was just too perfect. “Wow. My mother would’ve had a heart attack.”
“Mine almost did. Embarrassed my friend so bad he ended our relationship and started dating girls.” He shrugged. “I don’t know how that went for him. He transferred schools the next year.”
“It can be hard to meet people. To avoid being judged here.” Quickly, he added, “Who’s having a signing tomorrow? I’ve never been to one.” He had to work his other job tomorrow as well, but he would have a few breaks during the day. It would be a chance to see Ichiro someplace besides the doorway of his penthouse. He didn’t expect the man to ask him out or anything just because of what they’d been talking about, but it didn’t hurt to try. He gripped the signature pad in both hands, trying to contain his excitement at learning that Ichiro liked men, too.
“Takahiro Kino. It’s a brand new shoujo series that just launched. We’ll be in Nanali Books at lunchtime, eleven to two.”
“Ah, I’ll probably be working all day, but I may be able to swing in.”
Ichiro looked at his watch. “It is late. They really keep you going.” He backed up. “I’ll let you get going so you can get home.”
Ryu wished he’d said something else, something that would’ve kept the conversation flowing, but he didn’t want to push his luck. If he managed his time well, he could stop in for the signing tomorrow. That would have to do—for now. He nodded. “Good night, Murakami-san.”
“Good night.” Ichiro smiled and closed the door.
Ryu sighed and walked back to the elevator. As soon as the doors closed, he adjusted his pants. Looking down, he rubbed his palm over his erection, willing it to calm down. At least he could hold the bulky signature pad in front of him in the lobby if he had to.
His plan had gone well enough, and he’d learned more about Ichiro than he’d expected. As soon as he was safely back in his truck, he pulled out his phone and went to Nanali Books and a few other bookstores online to sign up to be notified of author events. As marketing director, Ichiro might be at most of them, as he would be tomorrow. New fantasies began to form in Ryu’s mind as he drove back to work and checked in. He couldn’t wait to get home to relieve the ache he was beginning to feel.

Guest Author - Yuki Edo & His Roommate

Welcome Yuki Edo back to my blog -- she's here to share a bit from her yaoi anime inspired story His Roommate from her series Sakura Towers.

Welcome to Sakura Towers, where fantasies come to life.

Hiroki couldn’t help being nervous, but he was also excited. He’d signed the lease the day before, and this morning he was letting himself in to his new penthouse to wait for the movers.
And the only man he’d kissed in the last six months was now his roommate.
He removed his shoes and put them on the empty bottom shelf on the very pristine shoe rack in the entry hall. Even the shoe horn had its own holder, which matched the wood tone of the rack perfectly. Hiroki smiled, liking that Dai was a neat person as well. He licked his lips as he remembered that kiss yet again. It would be so easy to seduce Dai, if he was truly as repressed as he seemed, but Hiroki kept telling himself it wouldn’t be right. He would be taking advantage, and it might end badly. He’d hate it if his brother became angry or if Dai refused to be open about a relationship.
Hiroki could not do that ever again. He’d almost lost his heart to man who couldn’t admit what he truly was, and he needed to stay strong.
That resolve wavered a bit when Dai emerged wearing only faded jeans and a dark green fitted t-shirt. He’d been handsome in nicer clothes, but the casual look had its own appeal. Dai smiled, looking a bit nervous as well.
“Welcome home, Hiroki.” His smile wavered a bit. “How are you today?”
“Good. The movers will be here soon. I’m glad the elevator is so spacious.”
“Yes, they take very good care of the penthouse residents here. One of our neighbors is having a party next weekend and said I should bring you along. It would be a good way to meet other tenants. Ichiro-san is a director with a publishing house. Being in language arts, you’ll have a lot to talk about with him and his friends, I’m sure. He said he’d be happy to introduce you to them.”
Hiroki couldn’t help grinning. “That’s amazing. I can’t wait to meet him. It would be a good networking opportunity.” He sighed. “My brother will be pleased with that.”
Dai crossed his arms and hesitated before saying, “He has high hopes for you. Thinks a lot of you. Does he really push you so much?”
Hiroki laughed. “He can be about as bad as my parents, but he means well. I don’t mind that much. I know it’s done affectionately.” He laughed again. “Though it doesn’t always feel that way.”
“I’m an only child, though both of my parents have younger siblings.”
“Do you spend a lot of time with your family?”
“Not that much. Just a few times a year. Dinners in Tokyo now and then. They’re disappointed I’m not married yet. I’m thirty-three, and they’re dismayed by me, honestly. They think I should settle down because my career is stable.”
“Oh.” Hiroki didn’t know what else to say. “They want grandchildren?”
“I think what they really want is proof I’m not gay. I believe they’ve made it so clear that it would be intolerable to, well, scare me into what they consider normalcy.”
“They suspect then?”
“I believe so. I never felt it was right to lead on the girls they tried to set me up with. They must have some idea, but they’ll never say anything, of course. Even talking about the subject would be too much for them.”
Hiroki tried to hold his tongue but found he couldn’t. “Based on what I felt in that kiss, you’ll end up very unhappy if you spend your entire life pretending.”
“I’m already un…” He stopped and sighed, trailing off. “I appreciate what you’re trying to do. It’s good to finally have someone to talk to.”
The elevator chimed, and Hiroki walked over to it, though he looked back at Dai as he spoke with the men and pressed the button to let them up. When he walked back over, he said, “We can talk any time. I want us to be friends. I’ve been through ups and downs since I came out. I’m willing to share.” I’m also willing to show you how good it could be. He clasped his hands behind his back, his grip tight as he tried to tell himself not to think that way. He should focus on being Dai’s friend, not trying to seduce him.
“Thank you,” Dai said before leading the way to prop the door open for the movers.
Hiroki stared at the floor a moment. No use getting worked up now. I knew what I was getting into coming here. He lifted his gaze to Dai’s back. Knew I wanted him. Would be tempted. He blinked to try to clear his expression. He thought of all the objections he’d raised in his mind throughout the morning, suddenly realizing he’d been protesting so hard to deny what he’d really done.
Moved himself into the penthouse of a man he wanted desperately.

Guest Author - Yuki Edo and Special Delivery

Welcome Yuki Edo back to my blog!  She's here today to share a piece of her latest release, Spacial Delivery, the second installment of the Sakura Towers series.

Welcome to Sakura Towers, where fantasies come to life.

Ichiro kept glancing at his phone toward the end of the workday. He’d signed up to receive text alerts on all of his recent orders so he didn’t miss any of them. He felt a little silly since Ryu almost always arrived at least an hour after he’d gotten home for the day. Ichiro wondered about that. He’d been at the end of Ryu’s route when he was in his other apartment, but wasn’t it the same route? Had it changed recently? Or did Ryu purposely leave him until last? He shook his head and laughed at himself.
You’ve been reading too many manga. He told himself not to jump to any conclusions. Yes, he was making extra effort to be home because his last two conversations with Ryu had given him hope the handsome younger man might be interested in him. But he didn’t need to get his hopes up. He couldn’t exactly prove that Ryu was making any special efforts, could he? Not unless he came right out and asked. And he’d likely make a complete fool of himself if he did.
Of course, there was also the chance that asking the question would spur Ryu to action. Just imagining Ryu pushing him into his penthouse and pinning him to the nearest wall made Ichiro anxious to be home. He adjusted his pants under his desk, glad he’d closed his door. He’d jerked off in the shower two nights ago after seeing Ryu in the coffee shop. If this were a manga, wouldn’t that be fate at work? He liked to think so even as he chastised himself for viewing the real world that way. That chance encounter could have been the universe making up for keeping them apart earlier in the day.
He laughed at himself again and got back to work, scheduling meetings and returning phone calls. He left a few minutes early, again checking his phone repeatedly. His new coffee table showed a status of being “out for delivery”, meaning Ryu was driving it around that very moment. He drove a little faster than usual, and he swung into his parking space under Sakura Towers in record time. He made his way upstairs quickly and only gave nodding acknowledgments to those he passed. He kept his phone in his hand, trying to look as busy as possible so no one would stop him. Several current and former colleagues lived in the building, and he didn’t want to get trapped in a conversation.
He kept an eye on his phone as he freshened up and then cleaned up the main room a little bit. As he ran a lint brush over the couch, he imagined himself lying on it with Ryu on top of him. If something sparked between them, how long might it last? Ryu had to be at least a decade younger than Ichiro was, so he might not be ready to settle down yet. At least Ichiro now knew he liked men and wasn’t ashamed of it. If he’d lived with a boyfriend before, then he wouldn’t want to hide what was happening between them. Ichiro paused and straightened up. Unless their age difference would matter—would Ryu only be interested in a physical relationship? Would he think Ichiro only wanted sex? Ichiro’s last serious relationship had ended because they’d wanted different things and hadn’t communicated properly. He didn’t want to overthink this, but he couldn’t deny the facts. They were in different places in life. Anything beyond sex would take a lot of work.
The intercom buzzed, and Ichiro practically dove for it. “Yes?”
“It’s Ryu.”
“Great. Come on up.” He hit the button to allow Ryu access to the penthouse elevator, and then he had to stand there and wait. He tapped his foot and then told himself to stop it. Why couldn’t he go back to being as cool and collected as he’d been before? Seeing Ryu had always been a pleasure, but he’d never been nervous like this.
But that had been before the flirting. Before the look they’d exchanged in the coffee shop. Before Ichiro had touched himself as he imagined Ryu fucking him.

GUEST AUTHOR: Yuki Edo & Yaoi Dreams

Happy Sunday!  Welcome author Yuki Edo as she shares her most recent new release and new series...

Welcome to Sakura Towers, where fantasies come to life.

Kaname came into the bathroom a few minutes later with a beer in his hand. He set it on the counter and began stripping right away. Seto watched him silently, admiring his body. Kaname looked perfect in a suit, and all of Seto’s female authors practically swooned over him at company events. Kaname looked like he belonged in a boys’ love manga, his legs long and lean while his torso was trim and muscular. Seto had felt inadequate the first time Kaname saw him naked, but the older man had never seemed displeased by Seto’s smaller and less muscular body.

When Kaname turned around to grab his beer, Seto saw he was already hard. He walked over to the tub and waited for Seto to make room for him. Seto moved forward so Kaname could get in behind him, taking the beer from him and setting it safely on one of the shelves on the other side. Given his state of arousal, Seto had assumed Kaname would become amorous right away, but the older man simply pulled him close and held him. His cock pressed against Seto’s ass, but all Kaname did was kiss the top of Seto’s head.

“Long day?” Seto asked after a few minutes.

“I wish every editor was like you,” Kaname said, his fingers sliding over Seto’s stomach.

“Really? I’m not sure I want any of the other editors to become obsessed with your cock.”

Kaname chuckled. “And I’d turn them all down. My cock is yours, and you know it.” He kissed Seto’s neck. “You know what I mean. You care about the quality of your work, and you meet your deadlines. You motivate your authors. You’re perfect for your job. So many enter publishing because they think it will be fun or because they enjoy reading. It’s tiresome having to constantly hound them and tell them how important the deadlines are.”

Seto leaned back into Kaname and turned his head to look up at him as best he could. “Perhaps you could have another seminar for the less experienced editors.”

“The last one didn’t work that well. I doubt I could convince the chief director to invest the money or let the editors take part of a day off just for something like that. He was reluctant enough the first time, and he’s mentioned how displeased he’s been since. We’re just going to have to do more mentoring.” Kaname’s hand moved much lower, and his fingers massaged Seto’s balls. “Right now, all I want is to touch you.”

Guest Author - Yuki Edo and Tainted

Welcome Yuki Edo back to my blog - she's sharing a bit of her new release, Tainted, Book Five of her Nine Tails series.

Lorn hoped he’d prove his worth to everyone when he was given a new mission from Inari, but he didn’t plan on one of Inari’s kitsune tagging along. When it becomes obvious Shigure’s protectiveness is part of a seduction plan, Lorn grows even more annoyed with Shigure, who insists he can’t love even though he clings to Lorn more each and every day. When danger engulfs them, both men must face old enemies to save the love neither is willing to acknowledge.

Shigure snapped a picture of the man with his phone and then leaned against the brick wall. Hana and the man whispered for a while, but when they got in the car, they kissed. For a very long time. She got out about ten minutes later and said good-bye to him.

Lorn watched her walk away and then turned to Shigure, who was looking at the picture he’d taken. Once Hana was gone and the man had driven away, Shigure said, “We’ll work on finding out who he is tomorrow. He looks harmless to me, but in street clothes, it’s hard to say who he might be.”

“All right,” Lorn gripped the railing next to the building, “That sounds—ow!” He yanked his hand back and saw blood welling up in his palm.

Shigure rushed over to him and took his hand, his gaze focused on the cut with great intensity. “It’s not bad. Let’s get you back to my place.” He opened a portal and pulled Lorn through.

They emerged in Shigure’s bathroom, and the kitsune made him lean against the counter. He retrieved a first aid kit and rummaged in it for a minute. “Let me see,” Shigure said, looking a bit tense.

Lorn held out his hand, and Shigure cleaned it. “Can’t you heal it with your powers?”

“Yes, but healing it isn’t worth much if I seal dirt and germs under your skin.” He finished cleaning it and then rinsed the skin with water. Next, he began licking Lorn’s palm.

“Is that necessary?” Lorn asked, even though he rather liked the sensation.

“Yes,” Shigure said, continuing to lave the skin.

The wound was beyond healed, yet he kept licking and kissing Lorn’s palm. “I think I’m fine now,” Lorn said. He drew away and leaned over the sink to wash his face. The intimate act made him needful, and he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do about it. He simply needed a moment to think.

But he soon found that Shigure knew exactly what he wanted to do about the tension between them. Shigure pressed close and placed Lorn’s hands on the counter, keeping him bent over. “Don’t move.”

To Lorn’s surprise, he couldn’t move at all. He could wiggle a bit, but he was stuck in that position. Bent over the sink with his ass sticking out and Shigure’s cock pressed against him. Shigure reached around and turned the water off, and then he ran his hands down Lorn’s back.

“You look so good like this. You have no clue how beautiful you are,” Shigure said.

“What are you going to do?” Lorn asked quietly.

“I’m going to claim what’s mine.”

Lorn felt sharp nails play at the back of his neck, and then Shigure ripped his shirt in half. It slipped down his arms to rest on the counter, and Shigure ran those sharp nails teasingly down his spine. His lips soon followed, and Lorn shivered. He’d never felt anything quite as erotic as that light touch. He’d known the kitsune all had claws they could bring out at will, but he’d never imagined them being used in this way.

“I love the taste of your skin.” Shigure’s hands came around to caress his chest and stomach as Shigure’s mouth continued to move over his back.

“How’re you doing this?”

Shigure looked up and met his gaze in the mirror. “Licking you. Taking your blood. A bit gross, but I can control you for a few minutes now. By the time the magic fades, you’ll want me so much you won’t resist.”

Lorn lifted his head a bit as Shigure kissed his neck, their gazes still locked. “So I’m about to be fucked?”

“Make me believe you don’t want me, and I’ll stop.”

Excerpt from Under the Moon:

Lee smiled. “Seems we think alike then.”

Erik gazed down at the smaller man, with his tousled brown hair and big green eyes. He wanted to pin Lee to the truck and feel that erection pressed against him, but he held back. The guy was responding, so there was no need to get aggressive. The wolf inside him, however, truly did want to pounce.

“Lemme text Simon real quick. Then I can help you. You got more boxes?” he asked as he whipped his phone out. To Simon, he sent: New guy hot and adorable. And hungry. Get more steak. Might get to play.

“Yeah, several empties. Just unpacking the kitchen and bathroom really. I’ll do other stuff tomorrow night.”

“Lead the way.”

Lee smiled and led him inside. Simon texted back. Just you? Or we gonna share?

Erik replied. He’s a maybe. Reticent. We’ll play by ear.

Simon’s only reply was ok. Erik cleared his throat. “Simon’s gonna get more food. We’re good to go.”

“Great. Thanks for the invite.”

Erik let him pass with an armful of boxes. He pushed in just enough to rub his hard cock against Lee’s ass. “Thank you for being so damn cute.”

Lee blushed and didn’t reply. Erik grabbed some boxes and followed him out. As they shoved them into the pickup, he said, “You can tell me if you don’t like being called that. I know some guys don’t.”

Lee shrugged. “Eh, Michael and I went to a private school. Got called pretty boys a lot, especially after I came out. Being kinda short and small, soft featured.” He shrugged. “Eh, it’s not so bad. I work out now. Doesn’t bother me.”

“Okay, but anything you don’t like, tell me. Okay?”

Lee seemed surprised by the serious statement, but Erik wouldn’t try to lighten the mood. Lee’s scent was calling to him, and he wanted to get the guy in bed and see what kind of chemistry they had. He had a feeling they’d be explosive together, and he wanted Lee to take him seriously and not think fucking was his only agenda. Erik wanted a mate, one day, and there was no reason Lee couldn’t be the one. His scent certainly had quite a pull. It had drawn Erik out of his kitchen and onto the porch earlier. There had to be a reason for that.

“Okay, yeah. I just haven’t been called cute in a while.” He picked up more boxes. “I’ve had kind of a dry spell. Left me a bit shy.”

“Shy? That mean I’m special? Drawing you out of your shell?”

Lee stopped as Erik picked up the last of the boxes. “I … like you. Never really liked a guy right off the bat before. Thought they were hot, yeah, but not…” He turned away and went back outside.

Erik followed and put his boxes in the bed. Then he took Lee by the waist and held him against the truck. “But not?”

Lee shrugged. “Don’t know how to describe it. Just feel … drawn to you.”

Erik knew exactly how to describe it, and it gave him hope. “I like you too. Kinda clicked for me right off.” He leaned in. “Let’s see how far you come out of that shell of yours.”

Lee arched his hips to press their groins together, and Erik took his mouth. He moaned into the kiss, their chemistry undeniable. He forced Lee’s mouth open and kissed him deeply. Lee felt so small pulled up against him, and Erik just wanted to wrap Lee up in his warmth and his scent. Mark him. Claim him. He had to fight to keep from growling as they parted.

Panting, Lee said, “I think I’m all the way out now. And yeah, clicked is one word for it.”

Erik laughed. He brushed their lips together again. “Wanna turn you around and fuck you right here, but … like I said, I like you too. Would rather have you in my bed later tonight. Do it right.”

“I bet you do it right all the time.” Lee put his hands, which shook a little, on Erik’s shoulders. Lowering his voice, he said, “Do that again. It’s been so long.”

Erik brought his lips to Lee’s ear. “Then you’ve been around idiots, baby.” He nuzzled his neck and enjoyed Lee’s soft moan.

GUEST POST: Yuki Edo brings us Trickster

Welcome Yuki Edo back to my blog -- she brings the third installment of her yaoi-inspired Nine Tails series today.

Kenjin has spent years writing gay erotica under a pen name to keep his desires in check, but he can’t stand hiding any longer. After telling his publisher, Hatori, Kenjin feels as if everything will work out in the end. One day, he’ll share everything with his family and friends. But then he finds out Hatori has been deceiving him for years. He’s hurt, yet he can’t fight the pull he feels from Hatori. And he already has a plan for exacting a very sensual revenge, straight from the pages of his own erotic fantasies…

Warning: This 32,000 word yaoi-inspired erotic story contains gay sexual situations, bondage, spanking, and other adult scenarios which might be offensive to some readers. This story is intended for mature readers.

Kenjin stood in the kitchen and took slow sips of pomegranate juice. He hadn’t actually been very hungry, but he’d eaten an apple, chewing each bite slowly. Hatori submitted beautifully and seemed to only care about giving Kenjin pleasure.
But can I believe him? Is it another trick? Kenjin surprised himself when he realized he wanted to believe that Hatori actually loved him. The submissive man tied in the other room intrigued Kenjin, all the while complicating the situation. Kenjin didn’t want to admit he was nervous about fucking a guy for the first time, but there was no way to deny he was. He knew theory and technique, but he’d never tried anal sex with his female partners. Instinct would only take him so far. He longed to spread Hatori’s cheeks and surge into him.
And with me, you can be as rough as you like. Kenjin bit his bottom lip as he remembered those words. Hatori was a man. He was smaller and thinner, but he didn’t seem averse to abuse and rough treatment. Also, he was a supernatural being. He might have amazing stamina. Kenjin put his glass down and returned to the bedroom, the sight that greeted him taking his breath away.
Hatori knelt in exactly the same position, his ass lifted high. His cock was still hard, his balls dark and the skin shining from how tight it was pulled. His eyes opened after a moment, and he arched a bit. Kenjin could see the dildo move a little, and he wondered what it felt like to be impaled for so long. He glanced at the clock, estimating he’d been gone about twenty minutes.
“You look handsome like this,” Kenjin said, meaning it. He no longer thought of Hatori as odd or strange looking. Need shone in his green eyes, and his tousled hair fell around his face in a surprisingly tantalizing way. Kenjin took off the robe he’d put on and threw it aside. “Are you enchanting me?”
“No. I want the real thing.” He pressed his lips together. “Though that’s a poor choice of words.”
“Yes, it is.” Kenjin walked over and smacked Hatori on the ass, watching his reaction closely.
Hatori sucked in a breath and then sighed.
“You like that?” Kenjin swatted the other cheek.
“Yes, sir.”
Kenjin sucked on his lower lip and let another blow fall. He loved the way Hatori said those two words. He never wanted this cunning fox to control or manipulate him ever again. “It’s time to finish reenacting our scene. I remember you praising the final version.”
“Yes, please.”
Kenjin got on the bed and took hold of the dildo. He slid it in and out slowly to tease Hatori, and then he got off the bed again. He retrieved the dildo gag and walked back over to Hatori, who watched his every move. Many of the gags had been larger, but he’d chosen a three inch one to be safe. He wanted to make Hatori squirm, not actually cause him pain.
“You ready for this?” Kenjin asked, pushing Hatori’s hair out of the way.
Hatori looked into his eyes and nodded. Kenjin maintained the eye contact and slid the rubber cock into Hatori’s mouth and secured the gag behind his head, making sure not to snag any hair. Kenjin ran his thumb back and forth over the smooth leather of the gag, pushing the cock a little deeper.
“Maybe it would be safest to keep you this way.” Before he knew what he was doing, he leaned in and kissed the gag.
Hatori gasped, and Kenjin realized it was because they hadn’t actually kissed yet. He turned away and grabbed the lube before climbing back onto the bed. Hatori’s ass cheeks were pink from Kenjin’s blows, and Kenjin massaged the flesh there. But then he stopped. They were acting out a scene, and he needed to refocus.
Pulling the dildo out of Hatori’s cock proved very erotic, and Kenjin’s erection had fully returned by the time he squirted lube into his hand. He slid two slicked fingers into Hatori, searching for his prostate so he’d have some idea of where to aim for. His other hand shook a bit, but he told himself to stop worrying.
He’s going to love every moment, no matter what I do to him. Kenjin lifted up, feeling more confident. He spread Hatori’s cheeks, watching his hole gape in anticipation of being filled. He pushed in, meeting a little resistance at first. But then the tight, slick warmth engulfed him.
“Fuck, that’s good,” Kenjin whispered. He took hold of Hatori’s cheeks and moved in and out. When Hatori began to moan, Kenjin reached down and touched his cock. Their bodies pressed close, and Hatori moaned even louder as Kenjin toyed with his cock, which was leaking pre-cum and throbbing in Kenjin’s hand.

Kenjin pushed all the way in. “Sounds like you’re loving this,” he whispered, his hands again caressing Hatori’s ass. He’d always imagined his betas as cute and willing and needful, his alphas harsh and brutal. Yet there was always an emotional connection at this moment. Kenjin slowed a bit, no longer wanting to think about his books.

Hiro sat in the back of the Rolls Royce Phantom beside his brother, very comfortable, yet at the same time not feeling quite at ease. Sending the fancy, chauffeur-driven car to pick them up seemed over the top to Hiro. Despite feeling that way, he ran his hand over the leather seat again. While he appreciated the special treatment, he imagined Mr. Kitamura had done it to show off.

He bought your art and obviously wants more. Don’t mess this up. Rich guys like to show off. You can deal. He glanced at Akira, who hadn’t even blinked when the driver had arrived and immediately taken Hiro’s bags and his portfolio and placed them in the trunk. “Where does this guy live? We’ve been driving a long time.”

“Far outside the city. A private estate.”

Of course. Hiro looked out the window, though it was already dark and there was little to see. They slowed soon after, turning down a narrow road, and he tried to see where they were. They came to a complete stop about a mile later. When they moved again, the car passed through a large wrought iron gate. The estate seemed to be surrounded by a very tall stone wall, and blue flames adorned the pillars on each side of the gate. Hiro stared, trying to see the source of the colored flames. It had to be gas, but the orb-like flames seemed to hover just above the pillars. He blinked to clear his eyes of the afterimages and sat back.

Blossoming cherry trees lined the drive, but the rest of the land within sight was open space covered in recently mown grass. Petals of various shades littered the drive and the area surrounding each sakura. More pillars topped by flames dotted the area. They looked eerie somehow, now that he really studied them. The house soon came into view, set back against what looked to be a dark, thick forest. The design was simple, everything made of plain gray stones, but the structure itself was huge and seemed to go on forever in each direction. It had a slanted roof covered in dark shingles, and it reminded Hiro of houses he’d seen in British period dramas.

Once they’d stopped, Akira let himself out of the car, so Hiro followed. The chauffeur took his luggage and moved to a side door while Akira mounted the many steps that led to the main door, a heavy slab of oak covered in carvings. Hiro didn’t like being parted from his portfolio, but he didn’t say anything. He examined the carvings on the door as Akira reached for a chain and rang the bell. Hiro faintly heard a gong sound inside the house. The door took his breath away, the carvings seeming to tell an intricate story. He saw a tall figure and a nine-tailed fox together, and as the panels progressed, he saw that the fox’s tails had been cut off by the other figure. Nine smaller foxes ran away, scattering.

This guy likes foxes. Hiro had given Akira’s tale a lot of thought. Why would his brother make up such a weird story? It made no sense. Hiro’s stomach flipped as he looked at the door and then glanced back at the pillars on the lawn. Foxfire could be blue, couldn’t it? He shook the thought away. The setting seemed right for a supernatural event, but gods weren’t real. Neither were kitsune. He took a deep breath as the door opened, telling himself to stop letting his imagination run away with him.

They walked into the large entryway, but Hiro only made it one step past the threshold. Sitting at the bottom of a large staircase in the candlelit foyer was a giant white fox, which towered above them even in a sitting position. It sat calmly with its bushy tail curled around itself and watched them. Akira kept walking, but Hiro grabbed him.

“This isn’t funny! What’s going on?” The creature was bigger than a tiger or a bear, bigger than any animal he’d ever seen.

Akira smiled faintly. “I told you what’s going on, but you didn’t believe me. Now, the proof is before your eyes.”

“That … that thing looks like it wants dinner, not a painting.” Hiro raised his eyes once more. The fox gazed at him, one ear twitching slightly. That mouth looked big enough to chomp him in half.

“He won’t harm you. I swear it. He’s our benefactor and protector, and you’re being rude.”

Hiro kept squeezing his brother’s arm, unable to look away from the fox. Rude? How could anyone act normally after seeing something like the monster Akira tried to pull him toward? It was beautiful, but nothing so large could be anything but terrifying. The fox stood and took two steps forward, and Akira yanked Hiro toward it, the doors behind them slamming shut as soon as he was completely past the threshold.

“Forgive him, please. I told him everything, but he didn’t believe me.” Akira went down on one knee, jerking on Hiro’s arm and making him do the same. Then Akira bowed his head. “Your tribute, great Masaki.”

Hiro still stared at the fox, its large black eyes mesmerizing him. The fox bowed its head as well in acknowledgment. Despite himself, Hiro started shaking, and the creature noted this, a sound almost like a whine coming from it.

And it vanished. Hiro blinked, and in the fox’s place stood a handsome man in an expensive navy blue suit. He had shoulder-length, dark brown hair and piercing brown eyes. He sported a short, well-trimmed beard, which highlighted strong cheekbones. He licked his lips as he stepped forward, and Hiro fought his attraction, just as he always did when he saw any good-looking man. Shame filled him as he imagined what that broad-shouldered body looked like without a suit covering it.

The man bowed low to Akira and gestured for him to rise. Then he extended his hand to Hiro, who had no choice but to take it. He’d already been rude enough, but he told himself he had good reason. The hand felt human enough, yet Hiro could not forget the giant fox.

“I frightened you. Please forgive me,” Masaki said. “It’s tradition, something you will soon see is important to everything here.”

Hiro pulled away as soon as he was on his feet. The man’s hand was too warm, too soft and strong. “I don’t understand.”

Masaki smiled. “I’m Masaki Kitamura, and everything your brother told you is true. I’m a fox spirit, but I promise to stay in human form if that frightens you.”

Just thinking about it frightened Hiro. He backed away, his resolve to go through with the arrangement evaporating. “I’ve changed my mind. This is just too weird. Pick something else. We’ll get it for you.” Hiro turned and made for the door, yanking on the knob but finding the door locked. He pulled and pulled, searching for a way to get out. There was no keyhole, no lock of any kind. He rested his head against the wood, his heart racing as panic took over.

Wake up. Wake up. Wake up! This has to be a dream!
