August 2024 Writing Update
Greetings y'all!
Happy August.
This summer has been an eventful one, word-wise, though not all that eventful outdoors as I'm in writing troll mode. It's too damned hot out for this asthma sufferer here in the heat and humidity of Hampton Roads, Virginia.
I need a summer place somewhere cool in the UK or Scandinavia. If only...
Here's what's in the works...
1. Someone from the top two tiers of my Patreon is chosen to "direct" a scene with any of my existing characters every other month. It can be anything, and the first guest director gave me such a cute idea for the Enchanted Ink world that one scene turned into a short novella.
Now that it's been available to my subscribers for a few weeks, I've decided to make it available to the public. My editor has it now and it will soon arrive as an ebook.
2. I'm nearly done writing His Forsaken Alpha (Omega Quadrant, 3) AND a concurrent novella (Omega Quadrant, 3.5). Both will be arriving this fall. I hope to release OQ 3 by late August/early September and then OQ 3.5 sometime thereafter, eyeing October/November.
3. I've started early work on my Tinsel & Tentacles 2.0 book—Tentacle on 34th Street. So far, I've got it outlined and a few scenes written. This one won't be long (hopefully.) I hope to have it completed by early September.
4. I'll be leaving for the Rainbow Reader's Cruise to Key West and the Bahamas on August 17th and returning by the following weekend. This is my last signing for 2024.
5. The co-writing adventure for April Andrews and I has hit a snag. She works FT and there's been a catastrophe there, so we're pausing our project until things calm down for her there.
6. After my Christmas story for T&T 2.0 is complete, I have a short 2025 charity novella to write that's due early December. It's already begun... a total pantser with no outline. EEK!
7. Speaking of charity, I have my two novellas I wrote for charity anthologies in 2024 that I need to release. Look for them to be coming soon.
7. After that I'll be moving on to Alphas of the Western Provinces, 4. I'm aiming for a Feb 2025 release date for that if all works smoothly, though we know it never does.
8. More mini-fics and fun stuff for Patreon is planned.
9. After that? IDK... more Enchanted Ink? More omegaverse? I've got a long list of SIXTY SIX books to be written, so I've got plenty for my muse to choose from.

Update June 2024
I'm keeping this as short and sweet as I can...
1. Gideon's book arrives 21 June - To Hell and Back was a fun ride and I am SOOOOOOO proud of how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it and the world of Enchanted Ink. Just out the link on the right of your screen for the link.
2. One Wild Omega arrives on Audible and Amazon Audiobook as soon as ACX approves it. Sadly, there's no way to determine an ETA. They've approved audiobooks as fast as 6-7 days and as long as 3 weeks. This one is narrated by Michael Dean, by the way (and he's going to be working on Three Alarm Heat later this year.)
3. I'm pounding the keys on Omega Quadrant #3. At this stage, I'm nearing the midway point. And there's a bit of a change. I HAD planned to write Tulla's story but I've switched gears because someone else was screaming to have his story told. No worries, Tulla is still coming... he's moving to book four or five.
4. While I'm writing OQ #3, I've been working a bit on a new co-writing project with April Andrews.
5. Next up for me is a Christmas story I need to finish sooooon. It will be arriving later this year.
6. I contributed two novellas to charity projects this year. Those anthologies will be coming down in June and July... and both of the novellas will be available as individual e-books soon thereafter.
7. I have a few more books that I want to get to before the end of the year, just not sure if I can manage them all. The ones yelling the most in the back of my mind is Omegawood #3, Mermen #2, and Alphas of the Western Province #4... and I haven't given up on the Bishop's Bay series, either (plus I'll be starting work on the next Enchanted Ink book, too.)
Send good thoughts that I get a ton of work done this second half of the year! I've got a lot I want to get done.

Update May 2024
Greetings and Salutations!
I've not posted here in a while, so I thought it might be time for a little update to let y'all know what's going on in Kelexville.
And lemme tell you... it's a lot.
First, PARIS! I was a signing author at RARE Paris on April 6th. My daughter and I were there a week, exploring Paris, doing a bit of research, and of course, the signing. Meeting my French readers was amazing and gave me a much-needed boost to the confidence. Imposter Syndrome is THE WORST.
Days after returning home, there was a medical emergency for my father-in-law in North Carolina, a few days before we were already supposed to arrive for my grandmother-in-law's 90th birthday celebration. So we ended up there a bit earlier and longer than planned.
We got home from that last week and have been playing catch up and recovering from jet lag.
Losing three weeks amidst everything I've got going on was not the greatest, but I'm very much recharged and excited with what's to come.
I'm going to break this update into three parts: New and interesting, upcoming appearances, and ending on the part you REALLY want to know about BOOKS.
NEW & INTERESTING
1. I have a new Patreon where I am offering early access to my work, artwork I've commissioned, and opportunities to connect in a new way. There is free membership and posts available to everyone, as well as paid tiers where you can have access to all kinds of goodies. Check it out here. Chapter 9 of To Hell and Back just got posted yesterday.
2. Only Skin Deep is being produced into an audiobook through the Hoof and Fang Podcast. They're sharing in serial format, new chapters each week. Once it's complete, they will be offering it for sale on their store for a year, then it'll be available on Audible/Amazon for those of you who have credits burning their fingers.
3. I'm working on a storefront of my own with Kelex merch. I've commissioned some really amazing artwork in the last few months and after it's done a tour on my Patreon, I will be selling items in my shop. Coming soon!
UPCOMING APPEARANCES
Here is a list of all the events I plan to attend for the rest of 2024 and through 2026.
1. Rainbow Readers Cruise August 2024. I will be one of the signing authors taking the cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to KeyWest and Coco Bay, Bahamas.
2. Read the Rainbow April 2025 One day signing in Havre de Grace, MD
3. Pride Lit Con June 2025 Virginia
4. ShiMMer UK June 2025 Due to a major health concern in my family, I've had to regretfully change my overseas plans for 2025; I can't be across the Atlantic if something were to occur. I hope to try again in the future!
4. RARE London July 2025 (Tickets are not on sale yet; you can follow the RARETTES HERE for more news)
5. Book Harvest October 2025 Chicago (Tickets are not on sale yet; you can follow the organizers HERE for more news)
6. RARE Berlin 2026
BOOOOOOOKS!
1. As mentioned above, To Hell and Back (Enchanted Ink, 3) is being made available chapter by chapter on my new Patreon. It's currently at 90,000 words, so the end is in sight! I hope to have it finished very soon and looking for a mid-to-late May release date.
2. As soon as I wrap that up, I'm returning to Omega Quadrant #3, already in progress.
3. I'm also working on a new co-written series with April Andrews. We begin work on that in a couple of weeks.
4. After OQ3 is complete, I'll have to take stock and figure out where my muse wants to go next. I have the following books on my to-write list for 2024, but I'm already VERY behind (per my usu) so not sure how many of these I will manage to finish this year:
- Omegawood (Valleywood) 3
- Mermen 2
- Enchanted Ink 5
- Western Alphas 4
- Secret Project
- Another Secret Project
- Another Secret Project
That about sums it up. I feel tired just thinking about it all! Time to go write.

2023 WRITING RECAP
I've gotten really bad about updating this site, my apologies, so here's a quick 2023 recap as well as a what's coming in 2024.
I committed to being more productive this year and I've accomplished most of the overly enthusiastic list of books I wanted to write this year. I'm only pushing two into 2024, one of which will be started this year, so I call that a win.
The new year started with a January release in the Valleywood, multi-author series: Unwitting Mate. I've really enjoyed playing in this world and absolutely ADORED this story. MOLLY was one of my favorite characters and can't wait to write the third story in my trilogy. If you haven't had a chance to read this one yet, be aware you do NOT have to read this series in order... each one is written like a standalone title.
In March, I released One Night with the Boss, which had actually been available in 2022 through a book promotion.
Next came my third book in the Alphas of the Western Provinces series, Three Alarm Heat in April. It's my first MMM in an omegaverse and I had SO MUCH fun with these three guys. It was a chonky book, that's for sure. I cut out a bunch of planned scenes because it was getting really long. Even then, it was still 518 pages! Emerson's story was hinted at and will be in the works in early 2024.
After that, I had a book in the Pride Pet Play Multi-Author Collection. I am very, very proud of Born to Stand Out and I think it was lovely done. I hope you enjoyed it, too! Unicorn pet play? I've been wanting to do that forever.
I released my very first Italian translation (of His Surrogate Omega) in July. I'm very excited about that. It did impressively for a first release. I've also since released one of the short stories in Italian and have another short coming next month.
In August, the first book in the Enchanted Ink world that I share with J.P. Sayle was released. Only Skin Deep turned out to be my best selling book of the year. JP also added a book (and a short story) to this world, as well. She's currently working on the next addition for Winter 2024.
September arrived and both JP and I had an Enchanted Ink novella included in the Fated Mates Charity Anthology, which was on sale through the end of October. Last count, we had raised nearly $50,000 for the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund and the ACLU's Drag Defense Fund. I was very proud to participate in this collection. While it's no longer on sale, JP and I released the two short stories in one e-book (and paperback) after Fated Mates was removed from sale: When We First Met.
October was a busy month for me. My daughter and I flew to Boston and met up with JP and her sister for a week exploring Salem (where Enchanted Ink takes place) and then we all went to Portsmouth, VA for a week long queer book convention. We also hit Boston a couple of days and explored there and I fell in love. I ADORE Boston and will definitely be back.
November has been a whirlwind. The Norovirus whipped through both of us, given so lovingly by my mother (she also gave us covid the first time -- I wish she'd stop sharing this crap) and then my editor lost her spouse and my daughter and I drove to Alabama for the funeral. Three days of driving and the recovery equalled a week not writing. Friendsgiving, where we hosted my daughter's bestie aka my adopted son, his wife, and his wife's half-sister, along with her best friend, took another week for cleaning, prepping, and napping with turkey coma. We had a houseful and it was lovely.
I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and back to being productive now. I'd really hoped to have the newest omegaverse book out in December, but that won't be happening after this last couple of months. But it IS in the works. I'm committed to an omegaverse December and hope to have it mostly done by the new year, though I will be taking some time to enjoy the holidays with my family, too.
I also have a completed short story and a novella written this year—but both are for charity anthologies coming in (spring) of 2024. A dino shifter for the first, and a lovely contemporary for the latter. I can't wait for you all to have a peek at those. Not long of a wait!
All total, I released SIX new English language novels and novellas, have two done for 2024, released fourteen translations in German, French, and Italian, re-released eight German translations which I got the rights back to, and just wrapped on the audiobook for His Reluctant Omega, which is the first time I've worked with the amazing Michael Dean. He's got two more of my audiobooks on his schedule for 2024 so far.
The audiobook for His Reluctant Omega is coming very soon. Just waiting on Audible to get their asses in gear and publish it. (Audio takes a while for them to release sometimes) Hopefully it'll come in December, but I've had something take upwards of a month to release, so it might be January, sadly.
So... what's in the works for 2024?
Omega Quadrant #3 is already started. I hope to have that out in Jan-Feb 2024 barring any more interruptions.
The short story and novella for the anthologies will both come in March.
In April, I'm going to Paris, France for the RARE Paris book signing and taking the kidult with me. Super excited—it's my very first trip outside the US.
After that? I'm eyeballing a return to the Mermen series I started a few years back with a second book. Not sure if it's next on the agenda or the cute gay Hallmark movie-esque contemporary novel that's been quietly whispering in the back of my mind. Either way, I DO plan to work on both next year.
I've also got Gideon's story from Enchanted Ink to write (there are two EI books planned from me in 2024, as well as two from JP.)
Emerson's story is planned for 2024, as well.
In August, I'll be one of the attending authors on the inaugural 2024 Rainbow Readers Cruise. The cruise begins in Ft. Lauderdale, travels to Key West, and then a day at the private island, Coco Cay, Bermuda before returning to Ft. Lauderdale. There will be a book signing packed in there, too, as well as plenty of opportunities to interact with the authors.
I've also been asked to join a couple of authors for a trio of paranormal stories. Each of us will have their own book in the series. Early days, so no timing on that but if it arrives in 2024, it will be later, for sure.
April Andrews is back to writing and she's asked me to co-write something with her. Not sure if that'll happen in 2024, but we shall see!
I have more on my agenda... not sure how much more I can pack into one year. Just know I have a LONG, LONG list of books to write, so the well isn't drying up anytime soon. My 2025 schedule is already started and about half full. More Enchanted Ink, more omegaverse, and more daddies, hopefully. I want 2024 to be even bigger than this year.
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!

Writing Update February 2023
It's been awhile since I've done one of these! Let's start 2023 off right... I'm planning a much better year this go around.
So, as you know, Unwitting Mate (Valleywood, 17) released YESTERDAY. The Valleywood books are standalone titles, so they can be read in any order. Don't let that #17 intimidate you!
You can purchase that book via Kindle Unlimited/Amazon HERE.
What comes next?
I'm returning to a manuscript I'd started after wrapping up His Reluctant Omega -- it's the Alphas of the Western Provinces #3 -- Raimy's story. It went kinda sideways and I needed to take a pause and figure out the issue and how to move forward. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I figure it out ASAP.
After that, I've got two more stories planned and not sure which one I'll gravitate toward. Three years ago, I wrote a short story about Wynter Jaymes... which led to THAT ENDING in His Reluctant Omega. While I know Wynter isn't a favorite character, I think y'all deserve to know why he is the way he is and I like the challenge in seeing if he can be redeemed. (Yes, I heard the collective groan and "NO HE CAN'T" all the way over here... just gimme a chance!) The plan is to expand Wynter's short into a full novel.
I've also got very loose plans for another Daddy Tales book. A certain producer with a certain assistant, perhaps? We shall see.
Later this summer, I'm participating in a fun Pride-themed project with a little side of pet play. Looking forward to that.
There's another big project I'm working on with a large group of authors for later in 2023, but it's currently on pause as an issue has arisen and I'm just waiting to find out if it's still a go. Hopefully it is!
THEN... JP Sayle and I have been working on a new series together. We've been world building and setting up the rules and brainstorming... We're not co-writing, but we will have some character crossovers here and there. If you were at our panel at GRL, you might have some idea what we're talking about. We hope to have our first books out in that series prior to Portsmouth GRL 2023, which we are both currently planning to attend. And yes, it's back at the same location as last year... the organizers had to agree to it in order to move dates around thanks to COVID and the 2020 convention cancellation.
Anywho...
That takes me up through August/September... and there's more on my schedule for later in 2023, too.
In other words, I'm trying to get back into writing form and releasing a little more often than I did in the last couple of years. Fingers-crossed.

Writing Update October 2022
- A couple of weeks ago, I had to pause Raimy's book (Alphas of the Western Province, 3) because it just wasn't working. Late last night, I finally figured out what I need to do. Huzzah! Hopefully I won't lose too much of what I've already written.
- While I was mulling the Raimy fix... I started writing my entry into Valleywood Season 2. As soon as it's complete, I'll be returning to Raimy's story. Did you miss my Season 1 book? Click here to check out The Alpha's Hidden Desire.
- Valleywood S2 has already started with Trisha Linde's book, Role Play. My book, Unwitting Mate, will arrive in January 2023.
- I'll be taking a week off this month for the GRL Retreat. What's GRL? It's a LGBTQIA Romance Convention where readers and authors can celebrate MM romance, as well as queer books all over the rainbow spectrum. The Saturday book signing is open to the public... so if you're close to Portsmouth, Virginia, stop on in! This year will be my first.
- I had hoped to release Raimy's book in November, but it'll likely be December/January, at the earliest. If the muse is willing. If not, well, you know.
- After Raimy? Not sure where I'm going. There's another Daddy Tales book I want to do (a certain producer and a twinky personal assistant!)as well as a third Omega Quadrant book on my agenda (and a fourth, fifth, and sixth!) And then there's those pesky bears! I haven't given up hope I can the next generation on my schedule. Maybe 2023? Likely 2024.
- I have a speshul sekret projekt coming October 2023... and I've already put a few words to paper for that, too. I might write it early so I can fine tune it (re: overthink it) beforehand.

It's been a while... WRITING UPDATE Early 2022
I haven't posted on here in some time. Since I've recently gotten a couple of emails asking what's coming, I figured I'd get my butt on here and do an update.
~I released a FREE NOVELLA last month, One Night With The Boss (A Daddy Tales Story), on Prolific Works with the Your Book Boyfriend's Boyfriend promotion. Getting a PW account is free and you can download the story here: https://claims.prolificworks.com/free/XNUDjDW9ZRnpQhaDGiLq It'll be free until Dec 31, 2022 and then on Amazon after that date.
~I'm at 86,000 words on One Week With His Stepbrother (Daddy Tales, 3) and should *hopefully* have it done this week and off to my editor. No ETA on release quite yet, but it's coming soon! (Probably early March 2022)
~After DT3, I'm returning for the fifth time to Wilder and Avery's story. Hopefully we will see His Reluctant Omega released this year. Fifth times the charm, right? RIGHT? (Send good thoughts)
~I plan to return to the Alphas of the Western Provinces after that. Not sure who's story quite yet, but we have a couple of contenders.
~I've also written a short story featuring WYNTER of all people. I'm holding on to it because it would give away a MAJOR twist from Wilder and Avery's book. Can Wynter be redeemed? IDK.. but at the very least, that short will explain why Jamie and Wynter's relationship was so complicated. I *might* turn the short into a novel of its own, I may not. I'm not sure. We'll see what happens and if Wynter is worth redemption.

Long Time No Hear...
I know there are some of you that follow me here and nowhere else... and you've likely wondered what the hell is going on this year and why there's so few books. I've posted on social media here and there, but not here, so this is to catch anyone up who doesn't know.
TL;DR is at the bottom
After years of releasing anywhere from 12-24 books a year, I've only had ONE book in 2020.
Why?
Well, 2020 is part of the reason. I was already in a bit of a slump at the end of 2019. Exhausted after MANY years of writing like crazy. It was bound to happen -- I've sensed the hard crash was coming. Sadly it coincided with the shittiest year on record. Since COVID arrived, it's been very hard to focus on ANYTHING. I've heard from many readers and authors saying they're struggling to do the things they love, from reading to writing, to whatever. I'm definitely in that boat.
Add in a case of kidney stones, lots of doomscrolling, watching the world burn, massive depression, and attempts to crochet/bake/paint my way out of that depression from February through August.
Then in mid-October, I was starting to get a bit of a second wind and then I found out my mother has breast cancer. After her diagnosis, I took some time off to spend with her and research what was ahead. (I had been writing -- I was 75% done with Daddy Tales #3 when I heard the news.) She had surgery on Nov 20th, and my daughter and I took her into our home and cared for her afterward. She's healing very well and has her first follow-up appointment this afternoon and will find out if it has spread and if chemo or radiation comes next. Fingers crossed.
So, yeah, 2020 has seriously been a shitshow.
Anyway...
After Mom had healed up a little and I felt like I could return to work, I was asked to be a part of a major promotion with a large group of MM authors. It meant stopping work on Daddy Tales #3 and working on that project.
That project was supposed to be a short winter-themed novella, around 10,000 to 25,000 words. When the story I was working on went well past 30,000 and was NOWHERE near done, I knew I needed to start another project. The story was too good to cut down to fit.
So I began another idea... which is now finished and will be coming out very early in January 2021. It's in my editor's hands and I'll share some info real soon.
And since the story that grew too long is a winter story, I'm jumping back on that so I don't have to sit on it until next winter to release. I'm hoping to get it out by the end of January, but given the situation with my mom's health, I can't commit to that -- but I'm seriously going to try.
Once that's complete and off to the editor, I'll be back to work on Daddy Tales #3. It's 75% done, so hopefully shouldn't take too long to get that done, too. I'm currently eyeing February for that, but again, everything's up in the air with the health issues.
Also, for those of you who read and enjoyed my short "The Beastly Duke" last winter, I've dusted that off. I was briefly considering using it for that winter-themed promo story idea -- I added about 4K words before ultimately deciding it wasn't right for this group. BUT, since I've already added to the story, I do plan to add a little more and publish it, as well. No ETA on that -- it might have to sit until next winter. We shall see.
Avery's story is STILL on my mind. I'm very frustrated with that, but I have some help coming from a good friend (and great content editor.) I plan on having her read the FOURTH incarnation of the story and helping me get it over the hump.
So there... yes, I have been working, just not as consistently as I would like to. Here's hoping that the year to come will be much better than the last.
For all of us.
TL;DR - The shitshow that is 2020 has been full of health issues, from mental health, to kidney stones, to cancer (my Mom, not me). I can't focus for shit but I'm finally getting semi-productive. I've got a FINISHED short novella coming in early Jan 2021, another story that's 65% done that I'm desperately trying to finish for late Jan/early Feb 2021 release. And Daddy Tales #3 is 75% done and I'm aiming for late winter/very early spring release.
And yes, Avery is still coming. I swear to GAWD.

Writing Update - Late October 2019
What's next?
So here's what's going on in my world right now...
I'm about halfway on a new MERMAN story... it's something I've been sitting on for a while and it simply needed to come out. I'm aiming for an early November release for this.
Hopefully I'll be back on Avery and Wilder's story, HIS RELUCTANT OMEGA next.
I've already started HIS STEPDAD WEARS LEATHER, the second Daddy Tales story and hope to have that done by the end of the year.
Also... I *might* work on a short Christmas story that revisits Jereme and Anson from HIS STEPSON WEARS LACE.
Lastly, I have another Christmas short story I've been playing with for a while now. Not sure if it'll make it in for 2019, but 2020, for sure.

Decision Time on Avery and Wilder's Story...
Let me back up a bit here. What I mean by "leftover from book one that I didn't use" is...
The first Omega Quadrant book was supposed to be Avery and Wilder's story. Gray's storyline was a secondary one, but after months of playing with it, shelving it for a while, and torturing it a little while, I realized who the REAL stars of that book were. So I pulled out all of the parts that were Gray, Jamie, and/or Rohan's, pieced it back together, and then figured out a way to move forward.
That left me with about fifteen scenes of Avery's that I couldn't use. So, when I returned to work on his story, I pulled those fifteen scenes out and took a look at them to see what I could still use and what might need to exit, stage left.
No authors want's to pitch words they've written. Ever. But sometimes it needs to happen. So I wrote an outline that used as much of what I had as possible and went to work. I pieced those scenes together and added some new scenes...
But it just didn't feel right.
So I took it apart again, did a little verbal surgery, and tried again. But it still didn't feel right.
I took a couple of days off, let my brain veg, and then came back to it.
Attempt #3 looked promising. I got about 40% of the book complete, but upon review a couple of days ago—it just didn't feel worthy of Avery and Wilder.
I don't feel the heat. I don't feel the connection between them. It just isn't right.
Let me tell you that I am well aware that His Surrogate Omega is the best thing I've ever written. I'm proud as hell of that story. It was my baby and I languished over it for nearly a year. I loved those characters and the journey they went on... so there's no way in hell I'm going to put out a sub-standard book to follow it up.
I know there are a lot of folks who want to read Avery and Wilder's story. Trust me, I'm one of them. I want the words I write to excite me and make me cry like the ones I wrote for Jamie, Rohan, and Gray.
Pushing it, forcing it... the end product won't be pretty. I've done that before, written a book because readers were vocal about wanting it and then we were all disappointed with the results. My muse needs to be ready to write that book, so I'm giving my muse a little more time to come up with the right path, even if it means utterly abandoning the pieces I've already written and coming up with something completely new. (Side note: I have this amazing scene I wrote with Avery that was supposed to be the first scene in book one. It got pushed to the prologue of book two... and I cannot lose this scene, but if it has to go, it has to go.)
So, I'm shelving their story a little while longer and letting my head and my heart figure that all out... and I'm moving on to write Tanner's story in the sister series, Alphas of the Western Provinces. Tanner's been SCREAMING since the end of One Wild Heat, so he's pleased. Maybe once I write One Wild Omega, I can get back to Wilder and Avery.

May 2019 Writing Update -- AKA -- "No offense, but when THE FUCK is there going to be a new book??"
I usually put books out at a fairly regular clip and here lately I've not been doing that.
I had some health issues and had to take a few weeks off writing to heal. It's still a process and I'm not 100%, but I'm getting there. And I have some good news... there are some new books coming.
Bad news... the muse wasn't ready to complete Wilder and Avery's story quite yet.
I WON'T force it. I've forced books before (recently, Bear Mountain 22) and it's painful to do and I'm never happy with the completed product. Wilder and Avery deserve better than that.
While doing a little brainstorming for Wilder and Avery's story, I realized there were a few questions about the drugs Avery is taking to conceal who he is. Where did they come from? How did he get them? What is the difference between Heat Repress and whatever it is he's on?
The answers to those questions led me toward a new path in my Omegaverse. Since the muse was dragging on Wilder and Avery's story, I turned my attention there. So, in other words -- there is a new novel based in the Omegaverse coming later this month -- One Wild Heat (Alphas of the Western Provinces, 1).
It's already done and in my editor's hands. Beta readers have given me the thumbs up -- so I think we're getting close. I hope to release it mid-May.
Now, a lot of you have commented that you really wish there had been more one on one time with Gray and Rohan at the end of His Surrogate Omega. I heard you. And you're getting what you asked for. I'm nearly done writing a Gray and Rohan short story that takes place when the twins are 15 months old.
It's slated for release late May!
I'm also a part of an upcoming promotion for Memorial Day! I'll be one of 20+ authors participating in the SUMMER HEAT MPREG Giveaway! More details on that will come closer to the end of the May!
Once that short story is completed, the plan is to get back to Wilder and Avery's story - His Reluctant Omega. The hope is to write THE END by June and get it out June/July -- but I have to let my muse lead the way. I want their story to be amazing and rival His Surrogate Omega as your favorite :)

December 2018 Writing Update
So... you want to know what's going on?
After October's scary month-long writer's block, we finally got to A Monster for Two Bears (Bear Mountain, 21) in November. And yes, it was my only release, but it was a HUGE book and I can only push the muse by so much. (I might be biased, but it was also a damned good book, too)
I'm still feeling a bit out of sorts this month, I will admit. I'm still not at 100%. Writing takes a lot out of a person and I've been publishing books left and right for nearly six years. I'm mentally and emotionally exhausted...
Anywho... what's coming?
HIS SURROGATE OMEGA is coming.
This is planned for release later in December (I hope -- if I can just get it all done! My editor is waiting semi-patiently and it's almost there...)
This will be the first book in my new non-shifter Omegaverse series.
I started this book months ago and had to sideline it when I realized I had the wrong MCs and needed to switch gears.
Don't worry, the other MCs I had been focusing on will be coming in book 2. It just wasn't time yet for their story.
Side note -- is that cover fucking gorgeous or what? Thanks to the wonderful Wander Aguiar, of course. His pictures are AMAZEBALLS.
This title will likely be the only one in December -- and just might end up being the longest book I've ever written.
I'd like to take off a little time to spend with family later in the month so I can recharge and get ready for a very busy 2019.
What? That's it? An update with one book?
Not exactly...
I'll give you a little peek into what's on deck so far in 2019
Bear Mountain Book 22 (title TBD)
This will be LJ and Chase's story hinted at the end of book 21
Fantasy Isle Series - 3 books written as Xander Kane
These will be reminiscent of the earlier erotica titles I used to write. The first will hopefully come in January/February
Midnight Mississippi Book 5 (title TBD)
No, I haven't forgotten about Midnight! I will be completing this series in 2019, hopefully -- as long as I can stay on track. I'm estimating 3-4 more books and it will come to an end.
Omegaverse Book 2
Dragons? IDK... maybe. A little bird has been chirping in my ear, begging for the final Earth Dragon book and more. I'm mulling, but no promises.

November 2015 Writing Update
You know who you are.
Bronc Buster, the final story in the Tales of Triple M Ranch series, just released. I'm kind of sad the series is ending, but it feels right to not drag it out any more than where it naturally should end. Mack's story will hopefully tie everything up nicely.
Mid-month, the 5th installment of the Bear Mountain series will be released, A Second Chance with Two Bears. This is Ben's story. And I'm not giving away ANY spoilers besides that little morsel. I WILL share that the series has grown to at least seven books at this point. If it makes sense to continue... if it feels right... there *MIGHT* be more than seven. I really enjoy writing about these bears and their community, so as long as we're all happy, let the good times roll.
At the end of the month, we'll finally see GRAIG -- I know I messed up big time by not releasing it on time. But it was either give you guys a less than superior story on time or pull release and make it right. I opted for make it right, especially since I had another release within days of this one. Why did I pull? A final line editor found a plot hole. The more I tried to fix it, the more that became unraveled. I had to do some major rewrites to fix and it wasn't done in time. What am I working on now? I've still got the final JLC book to come. I think Jax's twin, Jason, deserves a happy ending. I've also got more in the Dead Ones stories to come. More bears, of course. There WILL be another BOUND book, sometime in the semi-near future.
And there is a new series I've got in development. More badass shifters and I'm excited!

August 2015 Writing Update
How wrong I was. Between the emails and messages on Facebook, I realized you guys wanted more, so it's coming! Carreg was a "basterd" though... (and I say bastard in the accent and tone of his Scottish lover)... and the dragon made it difficult to tell his tale. He didn't want to share and many a day I sat looking at an blank screen or started writing a story and knowing it was all hogwash. I started over four times, but the last one -- it was the one.Wednesday, July 8, 2015
July 2015 Writing Update
Damien Rosetta comes to his best friend’s wedding with the date from hell. Of course, that’s the perfect time for fate to put the man of his dreams in his path, the very moment he can’t do a thing about it. Damien can’t get the man off his mind, and when fate finds another way to bring the pair together, Damien isn’t taking no for an answer.
Lucas Cullen was supposed to meet Damien at the bachelor party, but chickens out before the night barely begins, never meeting the man. One look at the sexy Damien, and Lucas’ shyness takes over. When he gets a second chance at the wedding, his tongue ties in twenty different knots and he blows another shot. Friends orchestrate one more meeting, knowing the third time’s gotta be a charm.
Damien is entranced. He can think of nothing but Lucas and having the man, but he’s thwarted at every turn. Can Lucas get over his shyness and surrender before it’s too late?
Mid-month, I'll be introducing a new series -- Bear Mountain. This story wasn't supposed to come out until August, but I had to make a change in the schedule due to editing issues with Carreg. And it's past time I did some bear shifters, right? I've been itching for this story to come for some time now and I'm excited to unveil it.
You'll soon get the chance to meet Carson, Royce, and Jared and spend time with them on Bear Mountain. This tale will have plenty of the BDSM and action you're accustomed to. It will also be gay for him, or rather gay for them, as the case is for my two bears.
After Bear Mountain, I'll be wrapping up Carreg, the first Earth Dragon book and getting that out FINALLY!
I'm also working on a special project for a new publisher. More on that to come. Just know the title will be coming out around October under the "Wicked" line.
Yes, there will be more in the Triple M Ranch stories to come, and Jason will get a JLC Story, too.
Have a great July... it's looking like a scorcher!

June Writing Update
ICYMI: Bound to Them, the latest addition to the Bound BDSM Club Series I've been releasing with April Andrews just recently released. We're still working out whether there will be a third installment, but I really think that there are more stories inside the walls of Bound -- so keep an eye out.
April Andrews and Kelex join forces to bring you another two scintillating short gay ménage BDSM tales…
Their Latin Lover, by Kelex
Bound has been home for head bartender Xavier Martinez for seven years. Being a witness to all the kinks going on inside the BDSM club, he’s fantasized, mentally thrusting himself into the wild situations. Yet no one has ever tempted him to break the strict rules he has for himself. He doesn’t have sex with members or their guests, no matter how naughty he wishes he could be.
When he sets eyes on a violet-eyed demi-god, he can’t control his lusts any longer. Dmitri is a guest of an important member, but Xavier surrenders to the handsome man anyway. A basement quickie isn’t ideal, but it takes care of Xavier’s itch.
He knew better than to break his rules, especially when Dmitri returns a few days later with his investment partner Mateo, claiming to have bought out the owner’s silent partner. Dmitri isn’t done with Xavier, and plans to share the bartender with Mateo, before collaring and claiming the Latin stud as his.
Danny’s Dom, by April Andrews
Danny has been half in love with his Dom for months. Trouble is, Marc has no idea. Worse, with his iron control and uncompromising stance on relationships, Marc is about as far from relationship ready as Danny can imagine.
But Danny wants his Dom badly enough that he is willing to risk it all. And what better way to force Marc's hand than by introducing him to a brand new sub?
By the end of the night Marc will come to realize that no one will ever love or pleasure him like Danny can... and Danny will realize something too... that there is only one Dom for him.
Next up is a return to The Three Bears Series... I've renamed the series JLC Construction Stories as I
really think they are going to go farther than originally considered.
For those of you following along, you know that there was a wedding announcement at the end of book three -- so what better way to follow things up than a bachelor party and the days following up to the nuptials?
Six Men and a Wedding releases 6/03/2015 and brings back all the characters you know and love! Golden gets his big day -- and a hot, hot bachelor party.
Inside this tale, you'll meet two new characters... and hopefully you'll be excited to learn there will be at least two more books in this series. No more spoilers -- you'll have to read the book to find out WHO is next.
After that story releases, we'll be heading back to Triple M Ranch for WILD RIDE. I'm being hush-hush about this story as it's still in edits and things might be tweaked. This story won't be the last of the hot cowboy pairings -- or triplings -- or quadriplings -- Ohhh my, the hotness.
I know my last update said the new Earth Dragons series was coming this month, but unfortunately, it had to be pushed back. IT IS COMING! I promise.
Carreg -- like the other dragons -- has been incredibly hard-headed and made the process a little more difficult. But then, it makes for a better story when the characters are so incredibly strong.
Coming soon -- I've got a HUGE announcement and some news about another project I've been working on. Keep your ears out -- I hope to be able to share in the July Writing Update.
Happy June -- sizzling summer is almost here!

May Writing Update
Three new hands have been hired thanks to ranch owner, Mack Maitland's, new land acquisition and the addition of more cattle. There's also a rash of cattle deaths coming to the ranch and a mad dash to find the culprit. Of course, there's wild sex in between. Tales from Triple M Ranch is hot, sexy fun and intended to spice up your reading.
My second duo with April Andrews is coming in May as well -- Bound to Them. Still based in the Bound BDSM club, our characters will tackle menage action in this edition. Look for this title to come out in late May.Also, I've got a secret project I've started working on. Can't say much other than it's a big brand new world and paranormal. Look for more details to come!
I'll also be working on a final Three Bears story (I think it's final, who knows?) that should see release sometime in June. I've really enjoyed my boys from JLC Construction and I'm not ready to see them go just yet.
What else is in the works?
More dragons, more cowboys, and another secret in the works.

April Writing Update
But if you're looking for heat, look no farther than the stories right here.
March saw the release of Taking Kye, book 2 of the Alaxian Heirs, and Colt's story -- Plumbing His Depths, the third Three Bears tale.
Rode Hard will be coming April 8, 2015 -- the first of a new series, it will center around the cowboys working the Triple M Ranch. I've never written cowboys before, but I couldn't ignore the call of those wildmen. Hopefully I've done the ranch hands justice. Most of the guys are just out for a good time, sharing bodies and loving sex -- but here and there some emotion creeps in and some of them find some happiness. This series will be a collection of various pairings -- Rode Hard is a MM with multiple MMMM scenes. Others in the series will have the men enjoying all kinds of menage action. Look for the cover reveal later this week -- it's gorgeous!
Mating Jasek - the third and final story in the Alaxian Heirs trilogy will come later in April. This story will tie up all the loose ends and finally get our guys to planet Tyri to meet their true parents. I can't go into much more detail after that -- you'll have to read it to find out!
Coming down the road will be a return of the dragons, a dip back into the Bound BDSM club, potentially a fourth story in the Three Bears storyline to let us see Jax and Golden's wedding (and the bachelor party beforehand!), and then I have another secret project in the works.
So, whether or not Mother Nature brings us any heat -- no worries, I'll make sure these stories are on fire!

March Writing Update
But all that cabin fever has allowed me extra time to write.
February was busy. Claiming Callum came out early in the month, the first of a new Sci-Fi series, The Alaxian Heirs. My football series just concluded with the release of Receive, and then following quickly on it's heels, my short along with April Andrews for Bound By Him, just came out this week. That's three releases in February! I'm exhausted!Things will be slowing down a bit this month and next as I work on a new project. My typical every two week release may slow a bit to every three weeks in the near future... and then down to once per month. I've got other projects on the board and need to devote some time there.
But the books will still come!
The next Alaxian Heirs book is up next. Taking Kye will continue the story started in Claiming Callum.
After Kye's story, we'll return to my Twisted Fairy Tale and get Colt his happily ever... well, at least his happy for now. I'm not exactly a believer in happily ever after. It's not realistic and hey, we can all enjoy a HFN with a bright forecast.
Colt and his straight plumber will struggle a bit, but in the end, all will be fine.
Of course, I still have the final Barbarian story on the schedule, but Dayn is being a tricky bitch and just not telling me his tale.
Coming up is a secret project, another Alaxian Heir, and I am seriously considering more from the world of Bound. I loved that story so much, I just can't see not taking it further. The wheels are turning, trust me -- which is why some of you noticed the ? after The End.
