New Release: A Decision for One Bear (Bear Mountain, 20)

Bear shifters Ari and Nikos are attacked in the middle of the night, only to be saved by a group of shifters and taken to find sanctuary in Bear Mountain. Neither of them can believe a place like it could exist—a world apart from the human one where they can be free to be who they are.

It almost feels too perfect, and cynic Ari struggles to accept that Bear Mountain could be home…

Until the pair finds their mate amongst the residents.

Omega Cotton doesn’t want to believe it. He loves Dillon and has set his sights on having the male for his own. While Dillon is away on an errand for the alpha, Ari and Nikos press their case, confusing Cotton’s already raw feelings.

When Dillon hears the news that Cotton will be claimed, the bear loses his mind. Dillon lost his heart to Cotton, as well—but he knows the omega deserves happiness. How can Dillon ask Cotton to turn his back on his fate and choose him instead?

Dillon looked at the touch screen of his cell and saw Tyler’s name. He was in no mood for his pain in the ass brother, so he ignored the call and went back to drawing the mock-up of the entrance gate. When the phone vibrated again seconds later and he saw Tyler’s name again, he shoved the cell back into his pocket.
By the third time, he wondered if there truly was some kind of emergency and ultimately clicked through to the call.
“This better be important,” Dillon snapped.
“You might want to wrap up that trip of yours as soon as possible, little brother.”
Dillon frowned. “Why’s that?”
“Cotton’s mates just showed up to town.”

NEW RELEASE - A Panther Comes Between Two Bears (Bear Mountain, 19)

Mikel McCreary has plans. He wants a lot out of life now that he’s been freed from the chains of his fathers. And he’s willing to work his ass off to make things happen. While working at the valley grocer, he signs up for firefighter training and is one of a handful of applicants who get in…

Preston Bellington is from one of the finest families in Bear Mountain, but he bucks tradition and becomes a civil servant, something his family can’t understand. Preston wants to give back to the community to be a part of the valley’s new direction under their alpha, and when he comes face to face with the male who’s his, he knows he’s been on the right path all along.

Boyd Marsters is a panther shifter and part of the group of soldiers Deacon brought to town. His skill as a mechanic keeps all the military vehicles moving and brings him face to face with the male who’s his. Making some roots in Bear Mountain sounds better and better as the days pass.

Preston and Boyd aren’t a part of Mikel’s plans, and he does everything in his power to make sure both males know that. Problem is, neither of them seem to be good listeners.

And both plan on claiming Mikel as their own.

Bear Mountain is recommended to read in order. With a huge cast of characters, the overall story develops as each book progresses.

New Release - A Homecoming for Two Bears, Bear Mountain Book 18

Ronan's story is finally here!  Killian and Finn are finally making it home after their stint at med school -- I know so many of you have been asking about this story, but they needed time.

Also -- this book delves a little more into Project Zed and where that will be going.

While Killian and Finn loved the idea of being sent away to med school by their alpha, the idea of leaving their mate behind wasn’t ideal. Doubling up their course load whenever they could wasn’t getting them done fast enough. When Ronan shows up at their dorm one night, lustful and needing, they take what’s offered wholeheartedly.

After years of near misses, Ronan finally confronts Killian and Finn and demands their touch. Yet once it’s done, he struggles with his feelings. Hearing the words his vile fathers beat into his head doesn’t help, either. Unable to cope with what he’s done, he returns home to lick his wounds.

Torn between their duty to their alpha and their need for the mate they adore, Killian and Finn stay back to tie up their loose ends before they return home to build a life for them and their future family.

If they can convince Ronan to join them before their world explodes.

But now… now that he was here, potentially only a few doors away, his insecurities came into play. What if they saw him and weren’t happy he was there? What if they sent him away?

What if… what if they weren’t alone?

A growl rumbled up his throat at the thought of another being with his bears. A young human female walking past looked up at him, her eyes growing large. Apparently, he hadn’t done a good job of hiding the sound. She kept moving, rather quickly, as he spied her over his shoulder, watching her scramble away. Once she was gone, he turned back to face forward and got another whiff of their scent.

His cock thickened even more…

Finish what you’ve started.

One step came after the next. He passed door after door, the aroma thickening in his nose and calling him onward. When he sensed it at its strongest, he paused before a closed door. Ronan turned to face it… but couldn’t find the strength to lift his hand and knock.

After all he’d just put himself through… he was chickening out now?

“Hey, excuse me,” a female’s voice rang out beside him.

Ronan tilted his head and looked down at a blonde. He supposed the humans would consider her pretty. “Can I help you?”

She both grinned and frowned at the same time, an odd mix of curiosity and irritation filling her features. “I need to get to the door you’re in front of.”

“Oh,” he murmured and stepped back slightly.

She faced the door and knocked… and then glanced over her shoulder with another smile as she awaited someone to answer. This smile was a bit seductive. Too bad she didn’t have what he was looking for.

It took a couple of seconds to realize… if he’d picked the right door…

It swung open, and he got his first glance at Killian. He gazed down at the girl, a smile spreading over his face…

Ronan’s heart thundered in his chest. That smile was enough to make him ache with need. Yet Killian had never smiled at him like that… not that Ronan had ever given him a reason to.

“I was hoping I could take a look at your notes from yesterday’s lecture. I missed class,” the woman said.

“Sure,” Killian said before his stare lifted, and he caught Ronan’s. The smile faded. “What’re you doing here?”

The woman turned to stare at Ronan, too.

“I… I had to come.”

Killian brushed past the woman and grabbed Ronan’s shoulders, a fierce look of worry crossing his face. “Is something wrong?”

Ronan felt the heat of Killian’s hands on him, and he struggled to think, let alone speak.

“What is it?” Killian demanded, his features twisting with concern. “Are you okay?”

Ronan nodded, his tongue too tied to speak. His stare roamed over that handsome face. That face he’d missed so much.

Killian moved closer—a half step—but it was enough to make Ronan fight back a groan. His mouth was hungry to taste Killian’s. He licked his lips, almost feeling the brush of Killian’s over his.

And then he looked down and remembered they weren’t alone.

She needed your notes,” Ronan spat, feeling her stare burning on him. It would be hard enough for him to admit why he was there. He didn’t need an audience.

Killian stood a little straighter and cast a glance over his shoulder. “Right.” He grinned at the girl. “Let me get those for you.” And then Killian took Ronan by the arm and tugged him inside the room…

Where Finn lay across his twin-sized bed reading from a textbook. He was shirtless, and his feet bare. Only a pair of jeans were slung low on his hips. Ronan had a few seconds to take in the sight before Finn was off the bed and charging forward.

“Why are you here?” Finn asked as Killian shuffled through papers on his desk.

Finn was too close. Too hot. Too everything. Ronan licked his lips again and stared at Finn’s. Oh, how he wanted to plant a kiss on those lips and catch up on all he’d missed while the pair were away.

“I, ah,” he started, rubbing the back of his neck with one hand. He looked to the door and saw the woman leaning in, her stare and composure leading him to believe she was being nosy as hell.

Killian grabbed a set of papers and handed them to the curious co-ed. “Here you are.”

Without looking at Killian, she asked, “When do you need them back?” She stared at Ronan, a half smile playing over her lips.

“I’ve already typed them up,” he said. “Keep those.”

“Who’s your handsome friend?” she asked, her smile widening.

“Nobody,” Killian said, urging her back with the door.

She grinned wider. “I’d say he’s definitely somebody… to you both.”

“Goodbye,” Killian said, sounding irritated.

She pouted slightly, but it didn’t stop Killian from shutting them inside and away from the world. “Explains a lo—” she said before the door slammed in her face.

Killian spun to face Ronan. “Why are you here?”

Can’t a guy come and see his mates? Ronan shook his head. Mates would imply he’d accepted them as such. He didn’t. He wasn’t like his brother, Tyler, ready to bow down to a couple of betas. He was a beta himself, not an omega. Nor was he human.

His bear roared within. His animal knew the truth, even if he wanted to ignore it.

“Ronan?” Finn urged.

“Nothing’s wrong,” he finally said, but then he stopped before he said too much. Before he admitted he was there because he missed the pair of them. It had been too long since the last time he’d seen either male. Early the morning before last, the distance and length had grown unmanageable.

It had driven him to risk danger just to see them.

“There has to be a reason why you crossed treacherous territory to come here,” Killian said as he stepped closer.

“There is,” Ronan murmured, fighting the mounting need within him.

“What is it?” Finn asked, stepping closer.

Ronan lifted a hand and encircled the back of Finn’s head. “This,” he said seconds before he forced his lips on Finn’s.

NEW RELEASE! A Rhino for Two Bears is HERE (Bear Mountain, 17)

Exiled, Jericho is forced from the only home he’s ever known. To make matters worse, his brother bear Pablo refuses to leave the valley… all because of the rhino mate Jericho has refused to accept. The anger consumes him… and that anger eventually feeds a brand of monster within.

Pablo was torn the day Jericho was exiled. Did he walk away from their mate or stand at the side of the male who rarely showed him any respect? The choice was harder than anyone would’ve imagined, and it weighs heavily on the bear shifter… so much so, that he can’t find the will to go after their mate, Bull, until he’s found a way to make amends for what he’s done.

But fate steps in, putting Pablo into Bull’s path when he’s at his lowest. The dominant rhino commands Pablo’s attention and ultimately pits brother bear against brother bear. Is there a way Jericho can find his way back, or will Pablo and Bull have to find a new path without him?

Over a week later, Pablo returned to the spot he’d last seen Jericho. The hand carrying the basket shook as he worried about the exchange ahead. He stopped before the wall and slowly pushed the basket outside the barrier and lowered it to the ground.

Before Pablo had the chance to pull his hand back, Jericho came out of nowhere and snatched Pablo’s hand. He began to pull Pablo through the thin veil separating their worlds.

“Don’t do this,” Pablo spat.

Jericho grinned. The look bordered on evil, and it scared Pablo. He’d never seen his brother bear like this. “You belong out here with me.” His eyes shone silver as he glared down at Pablo.

Pablo pulled away, but Jericho was too strong. His feet dragged through the dirt, leaving a trail as he dug his heels in. Just as he was partially through the barrier, someone grabbed him and dragged him back to safety.

Stunned, he turned to see their mate.

“Let him go, Jericho,” Bull snapped.

Surprise filled Jericho’s eyes. His hand faltered, and it was enough for Bull to pull Pablo back inside the safety of the wall. Pablo glanced at Bull, confused as to how the rhino knew he’d be there.

Fueled by anger, Jericho pounded on the wall. “You abandoned me! You bastard!” Jericho screamed, his eyes glowing full silver.

Pablo stared into those eyes and sensed the danger he represented. The growl… the strength… the glowing eyes… Jericho was changed. Bull drew Pablo into his arms… and the fear lessened some. But it didn’t stop the concern he felt.

“Did you give him a gun, Pablo?”

Pablo glanced up at Bull. “How did you know?”

“Did you or didn’t you?”

“I couldn’t get my hands on one,” Pablo said. “I tried, but I couldn’t.” It was a lie for Jericho’s benefit. He hadn’t planned on getting his brother bear a weapon, but Jericho didn’t need to know that. Now that he sensed the change, he was even happier he hadn’t taken one.

“Idiot!” Jericho screamed, again pounding on the wall.

Bull drew Pablo away a few steps, putting distance between them. “What color were his eyes before he was exiled?” Bull asked.

Pablo lifted his stare, the shakes taking over. “G-green.”

“We need to get to Deacon and let him know.”

“Know what?” Pablo asked, snatching Bull’s arm as he attempted to walk away. Would Deacon send the warriors out to kill Jericho?

“He might’ve been changed.”

Pablo shook his head, refusing to admit what he already feared. “That’s impossible. A bear can’t become a werewolf.”

“Then why are his eyes silver?” Bull demanded.

Pablo’s head turned, and he looked at his brother bear a moment. “It can’t be.”

“The full moon is tomorrow night,” Bull said. “We’ll have to wait and see.”

Pablo was still shaking as Bull took his arm and dragged him away.

“I did this. It’s my fault.”

Bull didn’t slow down or acknowledge what Pablo said.

“I should go out to him,” Pablo said, trying to force Bull to let him go. “I should’ve been at his side. I should’ve protected him.”

“This isn’t your fault,” Bull said, yanking him closer.

“I’m his brother bear!” Pablo said, trying to ignore the lust now swamping him at Bull’s nearness. He had no right to feel it when his brother bear was in danger.

“If you’d been out there, you’d likely be just like him. How could you help him then?”

Pablo stilled. He’d had the same thought… but something had to be done. “How can we help him now? If he’s truly a were?”

“We’ll find Deacon. Deacon will know what to do.”

Pablo took a few steps with Bull leading the way. “What if Deacon’s plan is to kill him?”

Bull was silent a moment. “I won’t let that happen.”

Pablo felt relief… but then another question came. “Why wouldn’t you let that happen?”

Bull didn’t answer.

Pablo dragged his feet, forcing them to stop. Bull whipped around, his expression fiercely angry.

“Why wouldn’t you let that happen?” Did the rhino feel the bond between them?

“I don’t know,” Bull cried.

“You feel it, don’t you?”

Bull’s face twisted in confusion. “Feel what?”

Pablo’s words died on his lips. He had no right to this male… especially now, when Jericho was in need. “Nothing.”

Bull eyed him a moment longer before he took a step closer. “Feel what?”

Pablo’s gaze lifted. He stared at the male’s menacing expression and sensed there was no true menace behind it. If he was right, Bull knew there was a connection between them. “I spoke out of turn,” he answered. “I meant nothing.”

Bull’s scent filled his nose, making it almost impossible to think straight. His animal demanded what was his… and his body responded to that need. He stood there in the cold night, aching for the rhino shifter before him.

“Hurry up,” Bull demanded.

Pablo followed the rhino out of the woods, watching the male move with a grace he wouldn’t have attributed to the animal he was underneath.

He followed, even though his mind and body were in chaos.

Torn between his two mates, he was completely gutted. He gave one last glance over his shoulder, but he couldn’t see Jericho any longer.

NEW RELEASE: A Marine for Two Bears, Bear Mtn #14

With the werewolf issue still hanging over their heads, Bear Mountain’s alpha has tapped ex-Marine, Captain Deacon Jaquobi to come up with a plan for the valley’s protection. Deacon comes, not so willingly—but upon arrival—he comes face to face with his fated mate.

Glenn Ashland is the valley’s grocer. A single father to two twenty-somethings, he’s lived the last sixteen years mourning the deaths of his mates. Until meeting Deacon, romance wasn’t even on his radar—but he can’t ignore the attraction he feels for the mysterious shifter.

Deacon has to pull out a full-scale offensive to tempt Glenn closer, but a wrench is thrown into the mix when Deacon learns he has a second mate, Emmanuel. How can he hold on to a skittish Glenn and seduce an omega at the same time?

And then there’s the most important issue. Dragons are only supposed to get one chance at love in their immortal life… why is he getting two bears?

Glenn began ringing up the sale and watching the other male from the corner of his eye. Once the transaction was complete, he bid the male goodbye before another basket landed on his counter.

That icy blue stare met his, and Glenn felt a rush blow through his body. He drew in the male’s scent… only to come up short. Nothing? How could he have no scent?

A flicker of a smile crossed the male’s lips. “My name is Deacon. Am I to guess you are the proprietor here?”

Glenn nodded. “I am.”

“I understand you’ve been having some problems with getting supplies into your store.”

Glenn used the back of his hand to brush a bit of sweat and hair from his eyes. He’d spent all morning hauling cases of food and necessities and was sure he looked like hell. “You could say that.”

“The alpha has asked me to come up with a plan that will help with transit. I’d like to hear your concerns.”

Another customer stopped behind Deacon, basket laden. Glenn waved the male on and took the basket. “Gold or barter?”

“I brought the twelve dozen eggs and put them in your cooler,” the male said. “The rest, I’ll pay in silver, if that’s okay?”

“Sure thing.” Glenn started ringing up the order, eyeing Deacon. Any other time, he could get one of his boys to man the register, but the shelves desperately needed filling. “Mornings are always real busy for me. Maybe you can come back later.”

“What are you doing tonight?” Deacon asked.

Glenn shrugged, caught off guard by the question. “I don’t know… nothing, I suppose.”

“Then you can have dinner with me. Mountain Inn, say, seven o’clock?”

Glenn froze a moment, as did several of the customers nearby as they turned to look and be nosy.

His own mouth dropped, a little stunned.

Deacon smiled, and Glenn was sure he felt it right down to the tips of his toes. “So you can tell me your issues and concerns, of course. You seem like a busy man, but you’ve got to eat, right?”

Glenn nodded. “Yeah. I can meet you there at seven.”

“Good,” Deacon said with a wide grin before leaving his basket behind and heading for the door.

“Wait, do you need this?” Glenn said, grabbing the basket.

Deacon turned with a wicked grin. He lifted one brow. “Bring them with you. If you’d like.”

Glenn slid the basket across the counter and looked inside. There was a bottle of lube and a box of condoms. Heat flooded his face. Lifting his gaze, he watched Deacon’s back disappear through the door.

Need slammed into him like nothing he’d felt in years. Decades. His tongue moved out to wet his lips as he felt his cock thicken in his jeans. A shudder raced through him.

“Glenn?”

Turning back to the customer he was midway through ringing up, he froze. All eyes were on him. Heat filled his face once more before he tucked Deacon’s basket out of sight. Embarrassment made it hard to breathe as he continued to ring the male up, as well as the two after him.

Once the counter emptied, Henry sauntered over, a broad smile on his lips. “Got a date tonight, Pops?”

Glenn violently shook his head. Perhaps a bit too violently. “I’m a bit old for dates.”

“Old? Sure,” his twenty-year old said with a grin… a grin quickly that faded. “But you’re still alive."

BACK ON AMAZON! Surrendering to Two Bears

NEW COVER
Hopefully this one sticks... Surrendering to Two Bears has been resubmitted to Amazon.

IF you were able to buy a copy BEFORE Amazon pulled it -- no worries, the story has NOT been altered.

The only differences are:

1) The cover was tweaked a little (The original did sort of look like he was grabbing his junk, which he was NOT.  So, since Amazon did NOT give us a reason why it was pulled, the cover artist removed that area.

2) The trigger warnings were removed.  I was told by another author that she had a book pulled for that very reason.  Another said the fact "rape" was said in the trigger warnings, that was likely why it was pulled.

THIS SERIOUSLY PISSES ME OFF because the rape of the character doesn't even happen in my story.  It happens before the story begins.  He'd affected by it--dramatically--but it's never shown in the tale.
OLD COVER

I added those warnings to be considerate to my readers.  You guys matter to me and anyone that might struggle with this tale deserved to know about it in advance so they could either prepare mentally or decide it just wasn't a book for them.

While Amazon has not responded as to why the book was pulled, I can't definitively say it was for this reason. The fact other authors have had their books banned only to accept a new version without those warnings speaks volumes, though.

NEW RELEASE: Bear Mountain #5 -- A Second Chance with Two Bears is HERE!!

After Ben’s mates are murdered, Red and Quentin quickly move in to comfort the human.  Their animal instinct drives them closer—because they realize Ben is now meant for them.  They watch over and protect the broken man, allowing him to mourn and grieve for the love he lost, ever hopeful they’ll one day be able to claim what is theirs.

Ben eventually senses their connection, once the haze of despair begins to fade.  Yet he cannot stop the guilt that causes from consuming him.  He clings to the pain and memory of what was, instead of allowing himself to think of what could be.

When Ben attempts to leave Bear Mountain behind, his bears race to stop him.  He knows he has nothing left to give them and demands they let him go.  So Red and Quentin make him an offer—he can go if he agrees to one night in their arms.

Can he possibly leave after that?

He rose from the bed and pulled Mick’s robe about him. After a deep inhale, he walked out into the living space of the cabin. Ben put on a pot of water for tea, but not before glimpsing a glow coming from the kitchen window.

He dropped the kettle onto the stove and raced for the front door. Whipping it open, he ran to the porch and saw the two large bears lumbering away.

“Wait!” he cried, instinctively knowing who they were.

Both bears paused and looked back at him.

Ben stood at the edge of the porch, knowing he should be angry at the two of them, but he also knew they only sought to protect him.

He was theirs, in their mind. He understood the need bears had to claim what they considered theirs.

Watching as the two made their way back, Red shifted seconds before Quentin did. They stood there, nude, and in their human form. Ben sucked in a breath as he let his gaze take the two in. He’d never seen them naked, although he was likely wrong about that. Bear shifters had no shame and were often naked in public, after a shift.

But Ben had never noticed their nudity—until now.

Red’s cock was long and heavy, hanging like a thick vine between his powerful thighs. He wasn’t even erect, only semi-hard and it made Ben wonder what the male looked like hard and needy… and ready to claim.

Quentin’s was smaller, but not by much. His, too, hung heavily between his thighs.

Ben licked his lips, wondering what they tasted like. He wondered what it would feel like to have them inside him, driving his need to mind-altering lengths. Claiming his flesh as their own.

The reaction from his own body was stifling. Ben began to sweat slightly. He was rock hard and thankful for the thick, oversized robe to hide his burgeoning need.

“What were you doing looking in my window?” he demanded, sounding angrier than he was.

Quentin had enough sense to look slightly ashamed. Red lifted his chin, completely brazen.

“We check on you every night,” Red said. “Every single night for the past four months. After we close up the restaurant, we come here and ensure you’re safe and sleeping soundlessly before we curl up and sleep on your porch since you kicked us out of the house.”

Ben was struck by the words. His heart started to pound even harder. “You sleep on my porch?”

“How else will we protect what’s—protect you?” Red answered.

Ben knew how to fill in the blanks. He’d heard the comment before from others. Protect what’s ours.

“I never asked you to protect me,” Ben spat, even though the thought of them out here, watching over him, gave him a small thrill. “I don’t need guard bears, sleeping at my door.”

“You didn’t have to ask,” Quentin said. “We’re here for you, even if you don’t think you need us.”

Ben looked down Quentin’s strong body. He needed alright. He needed to feel their strength against his. He needed to feel them inside him. He wanted them to claim him and fill him with their desire.

Anything, to take the emptiness away.

“And if I do need you?” he asked, breathless.

Both bears stiffened. He glanced down and saw them both begin to grow even harder. Longer. Thicker. They were massively huge, and Ben could barely breathe from the sight. His own cock was rock hard and throbbing under the robe, screaming for release.

Mick’s robe.

Unease filled him at the thought. He tried to ignore the guilt this time and pushed it down before it ruined what he was feeling.

Red climbed the three stairs that led to the porch and stopped inches from Ben. His cockhead brushed against the furry, ratty robe.

“What is it you need?” Red asked, his raw voice barely above a whisper.

Take me. Fuck me. Hard. Spank me. Whip me. Punish me for having these wicked thoughts in my mind. Punish me for being a horrible mate. Punish me for not loving Mick and Eli as I should have. Punish me for not saving them.

All the words were swimming in his mind, but he couldn’t voice them. He couldn’t tell these two about the war raging within him. One side wanted them to take him, to make him feel whole again—to make him feel loved and wanted. The other side, it told him how disgusting he was for his need. It reminded him of yet another failure.

He couldn’t stay true to his mates.

“Make me feel less lonely,” was all he could get out.
