NEW RELEASE - The Forgotten Prince

The end is here, folks.  The Forgotten Prince is the final book in the Shifter Rebellion Series.  We end with Aleth, the forgotten prince.  I hope you enjoy his tale!

Third and Final Book in the Shifter Rebellion Series

Disfigured at birth, Aleth was marked for death in a too perfect shifter race. He survived unbeknownst to his father, until his remarkable power was brought to light.
Aleth was used by the invading Xakarrian Army to overthrow his own people. After years of abuse, Aleth held no love for his fellow shifters, but even so, the guilt of what he’d been forced to do weighed on him.
When his brother Agarri learns of his existence, Agarri sends a trio of Kannomite warriors to save Aleth. The hand-picked warriors know a thing or two about being different and Agarri hopes they can understand his brother’s pain and possible offer him the love he’s lacked for so long.
From the moment the triad meets Aleth, they can’t resist him, knowing he’s their fated mate. Years of loneliness tempt Aleth once in their hands, but he fears what the future holds.
There’s a war waged around them and the forgotten prince is the key to one side’s victory—the triad must not fail.

A rumbling sounded in one corner of Aleth’s room. He walked closer and saw the very walls trembling, the stones jostling slightly. When the wall began to open up, he jumped back, afraid.

Moments later, an overly large male exited the newly formed hole, which appeared to be a door of some sort. A secret passage? Aleth stared at the opening and knew he saw his freedom before him. If he could get past the giant.

Another two males exited the passage and stepped into Aleth’s rooms, these two smaller than the first, but just as unusual. One had a head full of white hair, while the other’s eyes glowed green instead of lavender like other shifters.

After so many years of being hidden away from the world, Aleth felt suddenly vulnerable. Even though he’d hated his prison, he was safe there. The three strong males who walked in didn’t make Aleth feel safe at all.

Excitement coursed through his body along with fear. His breathing shallowed, and his heart started to race as he took in their large, muscled bodies. These were not regular shifters, not the ones he was used to seeing. All three were handsome in their own interesting ways.

It wasn’t as if he’d never seen another male before, but a dark need grew within him as he looked at them. His cock stiffened and all Aleth could think about was offering himself up to the males, as some kind of sexual tribute. Aleth pushed the idea from his head, knowing it was insane to think it, but the many years of loneliness weighed on him. His past few years had only heightened his solitude. He only saw guards now or those he was forced to harm.

Aleth sensed a connection to them, but they were strangers. None of them looked familiar to him, yet he felt an awareness, as if his very soul knew them. They were warriors, he was sure of it. Exiled Kannomite warriors—an old tribe of shifters whom he’d never met but only heard stories of. Aleth had overheard the tales of their strength, power, … and sexual prowess.

“Who are you? What are you doing here?” Aleth asked, breathless in anticipation. Need spiraled in him and threatened to overtake him then and there. He wanted to be touched. Not manhandled as the guard did on occasion.

The large one spoke, his voice deep. “We are your rescue, Your Highness.”

The Forgotten Prince - THE END IS HERE!

The Forgotten Prince, the final book in the Shifter Rebellion series (or as I like to call them -- The Whorehouse Diaries), is coming WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26th!!

Prince Aleth was a unique character, to say the least, and his trio of untouchable warriors were very ready to touch and be touched.

Now I'm on to Phrenzy, the second installment of the Fire Dragon Trilogy next.  While Rhaege (part one) hasn't been a wild bestseller, it has gotten some great reader reviews thus far which is appreciated.  I'm excited about the series and there are grander plans in place for the dragon world.  Seven dragon houses leaves a lot of space there for more, hmm?

After Phrenzy, I think it's time to get in some fun shorts for summer reading.  I'll be working on a short trilogy of quick, hot reads.  More news to come there, but I plan on the first one arriving in mid to late April.

Khaos will follow, rounding out the Fire Dragon trilogy.

Rhaege's New New Cover & March Writing Update

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00INL1OMQ
So Rhaege got another cover tweak a couple of days ago.  On some of the websites, the dragon behind the guy's just made the whole thing look faded out and one tone, so the cover artist removed the background.

Just wanted to give you guys an update, in case there was any confusion.

And the covers for Phrenzy and Khaos have been adjusted the same -- the dragon removed.

I hate making changes like that on the fly, after a book has been pubbed, but it was a group decision that the cover was just too mottled and could barely be seen.  We can't win them all -- I loved the original cover, but understand the need for the change.

Rhaege doesn't seem to be as popular as other series I've worked on -- maybe dragon shifters aren't the thing right now.  As this was a planned 18 book series, I might have to rethink the pending schedule.

But I've also had some negative feedback on Adrian's Submission -- folks said they didn't care for it as well as others in the series.  To be honest, I forced that book out because I'd had so many requests for it, and really hadn't felt it as I wrote it.  I should've listened to myself and not forced the story.  I'm sorry if you guys didn't enjoy it.  But I've learned to listen to my gut from this point forward.  If a series feels right to end, I'll end it.

I'm currently working on the final Whorehouse title, The Forgotten Prince, which is going well so far.  After that, I have to take a little hiatus, but then will be back to writing Phrenzy hopefully near the end of March, beginning of April.  And then Khaos will follow soon after.

NEW RELEASE! The Whorehouse Oracle is OUT NOW!

The day has finally arrived!  The Whorehouse Oracle, Book 2 in the Shifter Rebellion Series is now here.

Also -- I have NEWS -- I've decided to add a FOURTH QUAD BOOK to my Quads of Alpha S series due to demand.  After the comments and emails I received, I'm adding Adrian's Submission to the series.  I'll be working on that title next, so look for it soon!

http://www.amazon.com/The-Whorehouse-Oracle-Shifter-Rebellion-ebook/dp/B00HV4NBM2

Triad brothers Tyron, Smythe, and Artim are sent back to Planet X in hopes of finding the whereabouts of the Shifter King. Along the way, Tyron plans to also seek out a rumored oracle, who could turn the tide in their war against the Xakarrians. Told not to follow myths and legends, Tyron looks anyway, knowing the oracle is out there and closer than many realize.

Khal has also been hidden away in Kazru’s whorehouse, made to sell his body to pay for Kazru’s protection. When the males he’d seen in his visions come for him, Khal wonders if it’s too good to be true. Feeling dirty and unclean, he doesn’t think he’s worthy enough to be claimed by a triad of Kannomite warriors, but in his heart, he hopes for just that.

None of them realize just how much they need the other until boundaries are tested and limits passed. Once the dust settles, they’ll either be bound for life, or their link will be severed forever.

Tyron stood facing the oracle, feeling as if every time he opened his mouth, he inserted his foot. Khal looked so lonely, so lost, and Tyron wanted to pull the male into his arms and give him comfort. Tyron wanted to whisper to Khal that things would be better and no one would subject him to those kinds of horrors again.

But after the male had been forced to allow others to touch him, Tyron didn’t want to pressure Khal with unwanted intimacies.

No matter how much Tyron wanted to touch Khal.

There was something calling Tyron closer, something about the small male that made his protective instincts kick in. Tyron’s fingers itched to trail over Khal’s skin. The need to claim Khal made his cock ache between his legs. There was little doubt in Tyron’s mind.
Khal was his mate.

Tyron watched Khal closely, really watching the male. Khal didn’t have the affected air of someone who realized just how handsome he truly was. He wasn’t just handsome. He was almost too perfect. His eyes were the brightest blue Tyron had ever witnessed, and they were large and expressive. Pain and heartache was reflected in those wide orbs, but there was something else—a longing Tyron could feel down deep to his bones each time the oracle looked his way.

Tyron sensed Khal wanted someone to take away his loneliness. Tyron was more than willing to help—but he wouldn’t push too soon.

He went back to gazing at the male’s form. Khal’s skin was almost a shade of purple; it was so blue, which spoke of a mix somewhere in his ancestry. Was that a trait in all oracles? Was that where they got their ability of foresight from? Tyron allowed his gaze to travel across Khal’s smooth skin and down his trim body. There wasn’t an ounce of fat on his lean, lightly muscled form. Willowy, that was the best word Tyron could think to describe the male.

“What are you staring at?” Khal asked suddenly, breaking the spell Tyron was under.

“I wasn’t staring.” A lie. Tyron felt bad as soon as he uttered it.

Khal rose and glared at Tyron. “I know you think I’m below you for what I’ve done in that whorehouse, but trust me, it was my only option if I wanted to live. I did what I had to, and I won’t let you stand there and judge me for it.”

Tyron frowned, completely thrown off guard. “What are you talking about?”

“I’ve seen the way you’ve looked at me. Like you’d catch something from touching me.”

Tyron was shocked the oracle thought that way, especially when the exact opposite was true. After giving Khal a brief smile, he stalked closer and stopped within inches of the male. “If I didn’t want to touch you, would I do this?” Tyron leaned in and kissed Khal gently.

The caress started simply, nothing more than a tender grazing of their lips. But as soon as Tyron’s skin touched Khal, a hunger set in like nothing he’d ever felt. Tyron deepened the embrace and pulled the oracle into his arms, slipping one hand behind Khal’s head to help give him a better angle. Plundering the male’s mouth, Tyron felt frenzied, the desire to push Khal to the bed and spread Khal wide open for his mouth, his hands, and his cock was more than he’d anticipated.

Reality began to settle in and reminded Tyron where they’d just taken Khal from. He couldn’t push himself on Khal, not yet. Not until Khal had had time to let go of his past.

With a struggle, Tyron pulled away from Khal. He observed the male. Khal stood there, his swollen lips still slightly parted, his eyes closed. When he finally opened his eyes and looked up at Tyron, a hint of a smile crossed his lips.

“What was that for?”

Tyron lifted one eyebrow. “You claimed I didn’t want to touch you. So I proved you wrong. And you’re very, very wrong, you know?”

Khal stepped back, his breathing still not completely recovered. Tyron was glad to see he’d affected the oracle since his heart still raced and his breathing was only now slowing. And his cock was hard as stone, ready to claim what he already sensed was his.

Khal crossed his arms over his chest and glared up at Tyron. “Do you expect repayment for rescuing me? Is that how this works?”

“No,” Tyron frowned. “Your body is yours to do with as you choose. I won’t force you into my bed. Unless you want me to, of course.”

Writing Update Early December 2013

After taking a glorious Thanksgiving break to spend time with my family, I've been hard at work on Wynne's Surrender.  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday if you celebrated.  Wynne's story should hopefully done by week's end.  I've had to shift the storyline a bit, I like to plot, but can also be a terrible pantser and go into different directions which sometimes get me in trouble.  We'll see where we end up with Wynne soon enough.

Once done, The Whorehouse Oracle is on deck.

Then I have two new stand-alone titles I've had on the back burner.  I'd like to get at least one of them completed before writing the final Quads of Alpha S story.  The forth and final will be Peterson's story.  Adrian is going to have a lou-lou of a tale.

And then...maybe some lions.  Or bears.  Who knows?

Wynne's Surrender COMING SOON

I'm currently working on the next in the Quads of Alpha S series - Wynne's Surrender.  If you read Tripp's Claiming, then you have an idea of where this story is headed.  Now if I can only get all the body parts in order and get the logistics to work, we're in business.  Luckily, I have a wonderful editor who will ensure all the hands and appendages are in the right places.

Once complete, I'm back to the Whorehouse/Shifter Rebellion series, with The Whorehouse Oracle.  I just got the cover for this one, so sharing it here.

And then after that, I've got a new series coming that, for now, is top secret.  Keep an eye out, there will be more details coming down the pipeline.

Now, with Turkey Day coming, and all the family and celebrating, hopefully I'll get some decent word count in for the week ahead.  I need to double up the next couple of days and dig deep.

Excerpt:

In their dreams? Agarri wondered if the male was insane for a moment, but the clarity in his eyes told Agarri he was quite lucid. “I know nothing of dreams. I’ve never met you or your companions, nor asked you anything.”

“I could no longer ignore your demands, and I had find you … we had to find you. You may not have been the one asking, but the dreams mean something, Your Highness. We’re meant to protect you; I know it in my very bones.”

The prophecy? Agarri felt himself swaying on his feet slightly, but caught himself. If it was the fulfillment of his destiny, a battle beckoned. The other two rose and their large bodies filled the space and made Agarri feel surrounded. From afar, they were menacing. Up close, they were downright terrifying. “What is your name, Sir?”

“Sir Drayden Am’peria of Kannom. On the left is Sir Irylan d’Ammana, and on my right is Sir Bayjin b’Merida, both of Kannom as well.”

“Kannom? That’s on the other side of the planet, is it not?”

“It … was. Before the Xakarrian destroyed most of it.”

“If memory serves, it was told to be a wild place, a beautiful realm. A place our warriors of old retired to.”

“Retired? More like exiled to once the old kings no longer felt warriors were of need.” Sir Drayden lips spread into a half-smile. “And it was not as beautiful as His Majesty, but beautiful, yes.”

Agarri looked up into the male’s eyes. Sir Drayden was menacing in his power. The half-smile had looked odd on his commanding face, like it didn’t belong there. Agarri got the feeling he rarely smiled, and Agarri had been witness to something unusual in that moment. His gaze drifted to the other two males who wore serious looks as they all stood towering over him. They were more than intimidating. They were frightening, although Agarri sensed he would find no harm in their arms, only pleasure.

Sir Drayden thought him beautiful. A shiver of delight passed through him, but he fought it off. He needed more information before he determined what they would do. “You said it took you weeks to get here. Why?”

“A small band of my warriors and I escaped the planet after the Xakarrian claimed it. We left to lick our wounds and find a way to reclaim our world. Getting here without being caught is not easy. It took us time, skill, and a lot of luck to find a way back for you.”

“And you came to get me. How do I know you’re not lying? You could be an agent for the Xakarrian for all I know, sent to kill me. They’ve been searching for me since the war. I’m sure the price on my head has grown quite large.”

“Honestly, it’s astronomical. But the fact you haven’t been turned in only proves the loyalty of those who’ve hidden you.” Sir Drayden looked over his shoulder at Kazru.

Kazru grimaced. “I didn’t save him all these years to hand him over to beasts like you.”

“Beasts?” Sir Drayden asked with a smile. “I think we’ve behaved ourselves while in your establishment.”

“Do you call running all my patrons out behaving?”

Sir Drayden walked to within inches of Kazru. “If we weren’t behaving, they’d all be dead.” He then turned to look at Agarri. “And you would be as well, Your Highness. If I wanted you dead, or wanted to turn you in to the Xakarrians, we wouldn’t still be standing here talking right now.”

Agarri shivered at the words, realizing the truth behind them. “Do you wish to frighten me, Sir Drayden?”

“No, I wish you to understand our motives. We only wish to protect you.”

Agarri felt Sir Drayden lower his walls, the walls he’d erected around his mind. Powerfully thick, Agarri hadn’t been able to find a crack when he’d probed before. Now the male made himself completely open to Agarri. Agarri stood taller, his body tensing as he allowed his mind to enter Sir Drayden’s. To peek in to another’s head without them knowing was one thing; to be welcomed in and asked to merge was almost … intimate. He was hesitant at first, letting a tentacle out to test the mental waters. Entering another’s mind was like swimming, floating in the images stored within.

Agarri closed his eyes and entered Sir Drayden’s mind, jumping into the pool of thoughts and memories. Largely uncomplicated, the male sought a way to take the planet back for the Shapeshifters, along with his band of warriors, just as he claimed. A dark danger seemed to be approaching, something Agarri had been sensing for weeks, as well. Sir Drayden felt it, too, which seemed to give credence to Agarri’s worry. Something was coming for him, and he was almost sure the males were here to save him from the threat.

Agarri also saw the dreams Sir Drayden had experienced—erotic, highly charged dreams, where Agarri had performed acts he wasn’t even aware of being possible, some with all three of the males at once. He blushed at the visions he saw. His body reacted to them quite differently.

You will reenact each one of those scenes, Your Highness. We’ve been tempted too long to not demand our due.

Agarri pulled out of Sir Drayden’s head and opened his eyes after the male put the thought inside his mind. The shifter stood in the middle of the room, his arms crossed over his massive chest, with a smug smile on his face as he eyed Agarri. Agarri had never felt someone put a thought, an idea, into his mind before. The male was strong, stronger than any he’d sensed before.

“Sir Drayden, you and the others may have dreamed of me, but I did not put those thoughts in your head. I am not responsible for your lusts. I owe you nothing.”

Sir Drayden had Agarri in his arms in a flash, his hard body jutting into Agarri’s. A flash of light seared Agarri’s brain, the simple act of touching seemingly the cause. Sir Drayden dropped to his knees, taking Agarri with him. A vision sliced into Agarri’s head, and he closed his eyes to see it better. It was an image of him sitting on the throne … alongside Sir Drayden … the new king. Sir Irylan and Sir Bayjin stood behind them on the dais. The light faded after a moment, and Agarri finally reopened his eyes and gazed at Sir Drayden. “What was that?”

“I’m here to save you, Your Highness. It’s all clear now. You’re ours. And I think you know it.”

Agarri released a low moan, the feeling of the male against him too good. His cock grew harder, his body ready for anything Sir Drayden and his companions had in mind.

“Your Highness, you must keep your virginity for the prophecy,” Kazru said.

“Prophecy?” Sir Drayden asked, his frown heavy. “What prophecy?”

“It’s you,” Agarri whispered. “You three are the ones I’ve been waiting for.”
