The Forgotten Prince - THE END IS HERE!

The Forgotten Prince, the final book in the Shifter Rebellion series (or as I like to call them -- The Whorehouse Diaries), is coming WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26th!!

Prince Aleth was a unique character, to say the least, and his trio of untouchable warriors were very ready to touch and be touched.

Now I'm on to Phrenzy, the second installment of the Fire Dragon Trilogy next.  While Rhaege (part one) hasn't been a wild bestseller, it has gotten some great reader reviews thus far which is appreciated.  I'm excited about the series and there are grander plans in place for the dragon world.  Seven dragon houses leaves a lot of space there for more, hmm?

After Phrenzy, I think it's time to get in some fun shorts for summer reading.  I'll be working on a short trilogy of quick, hot reads.  More news to come there, but I plan on the first one arriving in mid to late April.

Khaos will follow, rounding out the Fire Dragon trilogy.

Rhaege's New New Cover & March Writing Update

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00INL1OMQ
So Rhaege got another cover tweak a couple of days ago.  On some of the websites, the dragon behind the guy's just made the whole thing look faded out and one tone, so the cover artist removed the background.

Just wanted to give you guys an update, in case there was any confusion.

And the covers for Phrenzy and Khaos have been adjusted the same -- the dragon removed.

I hate making changes like that on the fly, after a book has been pubbed, but it was a group decision that the cover was just too mottled and could barely be seen.  We can't win them all -- I loved the original cover, but understand the need for the change.

Rhaege doesn't seem to be as popular as other series I've worked on -- maybe dragon shifters aren't the thing right now.  As this was a planned 18 book series, I might have to rethink the pending schedule.

But I've also had some negative feedback on Adrian's Submission -- folks said they didn't care for it as well as others in the series.  To be honest, I forced that book out because I'd had so many requests for it, and really hadn't felt it as I wrote it.  I should've listened to myself and not forced the story.  I'm sorry if you guys didn't enjoy it.  But I've learned to listen to my gut from this point forward.  If a series feels right to end, I'll end it.

I'm currently working on the final Whorehouse title, The Forgotten Prince, which is going well so far.  After that, I have to take a little hiatus, but then will be back to writing Phrenzy hopefully near the end of March, beginning of April.  And then Khaos will follow soon after.

Rhaege is Coming! New Release 2/26/2014!

Rhaege, the first book in the Fire Dragons trilogy, is coming this Wednesday -- and I am so excited.  This is one of my favorite stories thus far and I really think this is one you guys are going to enjoy.

Rhaege, Drakon of the Fire Dragons, is cursed to live his eternal life without his human mate. He watched broken–hearted as the first died in his arms over a thousand years ago and has had to witness the same occur six more times since. When he meets the eighth incarnation, a pick–pocketing, smart–mouthed teenager, Rhaege isn’t sure what to do with him.

Reincarnated over and over, Micah has dreamed of Rhaege his entire life. When Micah meets the shifter after snatching his wallet, Micah immediately feels the connection, but fights it. He’s lived most of his life on the streets, unloved and unwanted, and fear makes him run—right into the dragons’ worst enemy.

After saving his human, Rhaege hands the boy over to his best friend for safe keeping, knowing Micah’s too young and he’s too weak. When the time comes five years later for Rhaege to claim what’s his, he ignores the call. The guilt won’t let him take his lover into his arms yet again, knowing it’s a death sentence for Micah.

But Micah now yearns for the love he’s witnessed in his dreams and is willing to die to have a taste of his dragon.

Coming Soon & Re-Cover for Rhaege

I had the cover for Rhaege adjusted as the series has developed into something a little larger than anticipated and I needed a little tweak.  Not a huge change, but twas necessary, and you'll understand that a little more when you read it.

Just wanted to show everyone what to be looking for in the coming weeks.

Finishing touches should be done today or tomorrow, with a release date in the next week or two.  More details to come.

This story is really something else.  Much more romantic than most of my mother stories, with some really touching moments.  But don't let that make you think that the heat's not there.  It is.  In spades.  I think the romance side of it actually developed the hot factor all the more.  I'm very pleased with how it turned out and I'm really invested in these characters.

Hopefully, you will be, too.

Well, back to the pages.  Need to hurry and finish this up.

February Writing Update

Hi everyone -- hope you aren't in a sugar coma from yesterday's chocolate extravaganza.  Need some heat to melt away the sweets?  You've come to the right place.

So what's on the agenda?

First off, I'm finally working on my new shifter series -- Fire Dragons.  I'm already about halfway through the first title - Rhaege.  This one has been on the backburner for a while now as I worked on the Quads and Whorehouse series, so I'm glad to finally have the time to get it going.  I am falling in love with this story.  It's a little more romantic than I usually write, but variety is the spice of life, and I like to switch things up on occasion.  So for those of you who like the idea of fated lovers along with some super hot sex scenes, this might be the book for you.  This one is a planned three book series and then it's open for more storytelling down the road.

Then once that's complete, I'll start working on the final Whorehouse title -- The Forgotten Prince.  For those of you who read The Whorehouse Oracle, I'm sure you're interested to see how this shapes up.  Me, too!  I've got a bare bones idea at this point of what's going on and where I want it to end, but you never know as you put words on the page.  Things happen and storylines change sometimes.

That should finish up February, but if there's still time, I have a couple of new series ideas I'm mulling over and then I'm still deciding if the Alpha S series has any more juice.  There are a couple of storylines I had planned on telling, but to be honest Adrian's story was a real struggle for me.  I think I lost my way a little in that one, so I don't want to continue down a path that doesn't need to be trodden.

Have a wonderful Ides of February!
