Sunday Spotlight -- Lisa Oliver

As promised a couple of weeks ago, Lisa Oliver is today's guest author for the Sunday Spotlight.

She's here to share a bit of her new series - The Gods Made Me Do It (a spin-off of Cloverleah) - with book #1 -- Get Over It.

Madison Worthington has worked hard to get to where he is. Thrown out of his pack at a young age, he finds his home in the San Antonio pack, eventually talking himself into a job as Damien's PA. He doesn't get the respect he'd hoped for, but he holds his head high as he works behind the scenes keeping Damien's club and pack running smoothly. At night, he dreams of a mate who will hold him in strong arms and love him just the way he is. Unfortunately, the Fates appear to have other plans.

Sebastian D'Eath, son of Thanatos the Angel of Death, has always known that the Fates would throw a mate in his path. He just didn't realize he had to dive into flood waters to stop the man from drowning. But no matter how cute his mate might look as a drowned rat, Sebastian has his arguments ready. He doesn't want a mate; won't take a mate and no one can make him. However, he soon finds out the Fates have other plans for him, too.

Angry words lead to Madison being captured by a wolf with a sick mind. Salvation comes from an unlikely quarter, but Madison returns to the pack with a change of heart. He has some scores to settle and Sebastian is first in the firing line. Hellhounds, dinners and a red convertible - will Sebastian ever get the man he claimed he didn't want?

This story is roughly 50,000 words, but the book includes a bonus short story about Thanatos and Cody.

Warning: Contains two sexy men, intimate situations and coarse language. Also, watch out for a sexy twink with an attitude that won't stop, a demigod who seriously needs to grow up and hellhounds that appear without warning.

“I…er…you’re not wearing anything under that robe,” Sebastian said awkwardly sitting up and watching his mate’s face.

Madison shrugged. “Didn’t see the point,” he said with a small smile. “Shifters don’t wear underwear as a rule and I assumed you had the same idea I did about how this evening would end. Or is having sex with a smaller, younger guy going to ruin your reputation?”

Sebastian knew Madison was teasing, but he growled all the same. His cock was hard enough to pound rocks and his earlier anger had morphed into a sexual energy which was now focused on how soon he could find a flat surface. Bed, he reminded himself, this isn’t a hookup, but then his brain shutdown as Madison’s soft lips tickled his jaw line.

“Such a hard man,” Madison whispered against his skin. “Hard, stern and always in control,” his feather light touches sent tingles down Sebastian’s spine. Strong fingers moved from the back of his neck around to the front, slowly heading down, tracing his torso as Sebastian’s shirt was opened one button at a time.

“Hard all over,” Madison’s mouth followed the trail set by his fingers and Sebastian leaned back in the chair instinctively. His urge to lunge, grab and fuck grew, but Madison’s touch was addictive. He wanted more but he didn’t want it to stop.

“Hmm,” Madison chuckled against his abs and Sebastian stifled a groan as he felt a flick of tongue. “Your muscles are so tense. I don’t know if you want to throw me off, or throw me down and fuck me till I beg for mercy.”

Those simple words painted such a vivid visual Sebastian’s hips left the chair. He bit his lip and gripped the armrests so tight the material under his fingers gave way. Madison took that moment to suckle the end of his cock, when did he undo my pants? Although Sebastian didn’t have the brain power to answer his own questions, he was too busy…nope, too late. His mouth opened.

Moans and curses fell from his lips as Madison explored his cock. Sebastian registered the weight falling from his knees as Madison slipped to the floor, his hands and mouth busy teasing and driving Sebastian to the brink of madness.

“You…you….” Nope, he couldn’t form a sentence, but Madison looked up, a demure smile on his face.

“Did you want me to stop?”
